I wonder if Biffy Clyro had any number ones in your chart. They're next up alphabetically.

They are not my favourites though. They were number ones when it seemed right. Only one of these would be in my Avril top 5. Hope you will keep voting in HF, not voting hurts the game way more than this thread as at this rate we will only have about 5 voters left by the time we get to the final I already voted for Round 5.

B*Witched - Blame it on the weathermanWeeks at number 1: 1 Weeks on chart: 19 The video is finally uploaded on YouTube, but not on their official channel, which is weird! Or maybe it's available only in UK? Anyway, this was B*Witched's second number 1 on my chart and personally I think this is a perfect pop song. It became their 4th number 1 in UK in a row breaking records, but would also be their last one. At least in UK.

B*Witched - Jesse hold on
Weeks at number 1: 1 Weeks on chart: 17
Another video which is hard to find in good quality online (it was until now at least). It peaked only at number 4 in UK with disappointing sales and it became very clear very soon that people were no longer interested in their music. I think their second album was an improvement and wasn't as cheesy as their debut.

"Hot" always was my favourite Avril song and her lonely # 1 hit in my chart. I remember it being very catchy, but only #18 on my chart, I am afraid.

B*Witched - To you I belong
Weeks at number 1: 1 Weeks on chart: 23
B*Witched were up against All Saints and Spice Girls the week it charted on my chart and they lost by charting at #3. However, they topped my chart the following week becoming the Christmas number 1. To you belong was also their third number 1 in UK. There is something magical about this song (in my opinion).

Bastille - Things we lost in the fire
Weeks at number 1: 1 Weeks on chart: 19
Very underrated. Only peaked at number 28 in UK, but after looking at top 10 the week it has peaked, no wonder! I liked this one even more than Pompeii which was also a top 3 hit on my chart.

Beverly Knight - Shoulda woulda coulda
Weeks at number 1: 2 Weeks on chart: 28
What I really liked about this song the moment I heard it - the lyrics! It's very rare that you pay attention to the lyrics the first time you hear a song on the radio, but I absolutely loved it! It is also Beverly's second biggest hit in UK peaking at number 10. I even bought the single which I later gave to my best friend as a gift because she really loved the song!

Beyoncé - Run the World (Girls)
Weeks at number 1: 1 Weeks on chart: 15
I am a bit shocked that this was Beyoncé's only number 1 on my chart and of all the songs she's released. Really? Was I drunk? Anyway, it wasn't one of those big Beyoncé hits peaking only at number 11 in UK (surprisingly). Actually, now when I think about it, it went to number 1 because my sister was a cheerleader back in 2011 for a Finnish ice hockey team and they used this song for their choreography. It was played constantly wherever I would go with my sister. Maybe that's why for just one week before falling down and disappearing. The choreography in this video is dope though!

Billie Eilish - Everything I wanted
Weeks at number 1: 5 Weeks on chart: 38
A true phenomenon in pop music, Eilish didn't really do anything for me until this release, which is in my opinion is her best work (and another song which will appear later). It became a smash hit all over the world, peaking at number 3 in UK and got her a Grammy award for the record of the year. 5 non-consecutive weeks at number 1 on my chart with whooping 38 weeks in top 20 on my chart.

Billie Eilish ft. Khalid - Lovely
Weeks at number 1: Weeks on chart: 12
This was Eilish's 11th single according to Wikipedia and the first one I have ever heard by accident on Youtube. I really liked it and the following week it debuted at number 1 on my chart. Only #47 in UK, but apparently it already went Platinum, so chart positions don't seem to matter anymore.

Björk - Stonemilker
Weeks at number 1: 1 Weeks on chart: 15
I first discovered Björk in late 1997 at MTV Video Music Awards where she was performing and there was just something really fascinating about her. Homogenic is one of my all time favourites albums. And, of course, her debut albums are up there as well.
Stonemilker was the first song released from her eighth studio album Vulnicura, which also became her first and last number 1 on my chart so far. Overall, she managed to get 13 top 40 singles on my chart, Pagan poetry being her highest charting song (#7, 2001) before Stonemilker.

Black Eyed Peas - Meet me halfwayWeeks at number 1: 1 Weeks on chart: 19 This is probably one of a few BEP's songs that I actually truly liked. I found them slightly overrated, especially with this album, their previous albums were better. Meet me halfway also peaked at number 1 in UK.

Blue featuring Elton John - Sorry seems to be the hardest word
Weeks at number 1: 1 Weeks on chart: 19
Anybody who knows me will tell you that boybands is not my thing. Backstreet boys was the only boyband to reach #2 with Larger than life in 1999, which was the best result for a boyband until now. Blue become the first boyband to reach number 1 spot with a little help from Sir Elton John. It also topped UK Singles Charts out peaking the original.

Brandy & Ray J - Another day in paradise
Weeks at number 1: 1 Weeks on chart: 21
I can't remember why or how this got to number 1 on my chart, but it must have been a really quiet week for new releases. I enjoy the video more than the song, actually. Maybe it was one of the reasons. It also peaked at #5 in UK.

Britney Spears - ...Baby one more time
Weeks at number 1: 2 Weeks on chart: 24
Britney's debut single and her first number 1 on my chart. It topped the charts all over the world, including UK and becoming the best selling single of 1999 there.

Britney Spears - Born to make you happy
Weeks at number 1: 2 Weeks on chart: 23
Born to make you happy was the last single from Britney's debut album. It became her second number 1 in UK and one of the many number ones on my chart. I would say it's in my top 5 of all time favourite songs performed by Britney.

Britney Spears - Boys
Weeks at number 1: 1 Weeks on chart: 19
I would say this is one of my least favourite number ones on my chart. I prefer album version to the radio version that was later reworked to promote the single. It also peaked at number 7 in UK and number 122 in US due to Britney being banned from radio stations. It's all 'bout the money.
