Wow, what a tool, bottled making the right call there, no way you call up 4 right backs and leave out Watkins and Lingard, Ward-Prowse is a little unlucky too, Saka doesn't deserve to be there with 0 goals and 2 assists since January
Lingard 14 goals and assists in the last 16 games of the season Rashford, Sterling, Grealish, Saka 13 goals and assists combined in the last 82 games of the season
But we have room for 3 players who are injured and 4 right backs!

This is the first England tournament squad to contain three players based overseas since Euro 92, when the squad featured David Platt (Bari and was about to sign for Juventus), Trevor Steven (Marseille) and Gary Lineker (had just officially become a Nagoya Grampus Eight player though he didn't play for them until 1993).

I see the criticism has started already and the tourno hasn't even begun, is this the tabloid press forum? Just let him get on with it, and if it goes pear shaped I'm sure he'll resign and we will be back to square one.

ITV: Presenters/Reporters: Mark Pougatch, Seema Jaswal, Reshmin Chowdhury Commentators: Sam Matterface, Clive Tyldesley, Joe Speight, Seb Hutchinson, Tom Gayle Pundits: Gary Neville, Roy Keane, Graeme Souness, Ian Wright, Ashley Cole, Andros Townsend, Lee Dixon, Ally McCoist, John Hartson, Eni Aluko, Scott Brown, John Collins, Robert Earnshaw, Joe Ledley, Nigel de Jong, Patrick Vieira, Nadia Nadim
Thierry Henry was originally going to be part of the BBC line-up but ended up accepting an offer to re-join Belgium's coaching staff.
I'm guessing the vast geographical spread of the tournament is the reason for more commentators than usual. ITV are still going with the absolutely terrible Sam Matterface as lead commentator, rather than Clive Tyldesley.
BBC's line-up of presenters are all experienced pros. Eilidh Barbour has recently been Sky Sports' main Scottish football presenter while Hayley McQueen was on maternity leave. ITV's line-up is also experienced but maybe less familiar to some viewers. Seema Jaswal has been one of BBC's snooker presenters and has also presented darts and cricket. Reshmin Chowdhury was the presenter for BBC's alternative channel matches (when deciding group games were played simultaneously) at the last World Cup and is currently on both BT and Talksport.

EURO FACT OF THE DAY: 13 of the 15 previous editions of the European Championship have featured at least one team in the final four that didn't qualify for the previous World Cup. The only tournaments that didn't were 1960 and 2012.

Decent result for Wales. Switzerland were the better team over 90 minutes so Wales should be happy with a point and they're more than capable of beating Turkey, who were awful last night.

That was just devastating about Christian Eriksen, absolutely heartbreaking to watch, I just wish the commentator would have shut up stating the bleeding obvious.

That was horrific to see.
Nothing but respect for the Danish players for shielding Eriksen from the TV cameras, UEFA TV should have cut away far sooner to the respective nationals studio coverage.
There are photos doing the rounds that he has come back to consciousness before leaving the pitch. Hopefully they are legit, and that it is relatively positive news.
