ESPN covering Euros in the United States Commentary teams: Jon Champion and Taylor Twellman, Ian Darke paired with Stewart Robson. Derek Rae and Efan Ekoku, Steve Cangialosi with Alejandro Moreno, and Mark Donaldson alongside Matteo Bonetti. Analysts: Steve McManaman, Julie Foudy, Alessandro Del Piero, Tim Howard, Sami Khedira, Chris Coleman, Nedum Onuoha, Kasey Keller, Craig Burley and English referee Mark Clattenburg. I always thought Craig Burley was OK on ITV. McManaman is terrible. Don't know about the others as pundits. ITV are using ex-Premier League ref Peter Walton as an in-game officiating pundit - something I've noticed the various NFL broadcasters doing as part of their coverage for several years.

Netherlands v Ukraine will take some beating for match of the tournament. Nice little double I had today with Austria and Netherlands both winning with both teams to score.

McManaman is OK. At least he's far better than Mark Lawrenson. Unfortunately, the BBC have replaced Eeyore with Tigger in the shape of Robbie Savage. Peter Walton's contributions are valuable. Broadcasters have used retired referees before but it would be good to see them become a permanent fixture.

And it was great to hear Clive Tyldesley and Ally McCoist tonight. Sam Matterface is such a downgrade on Tyldesley it's beyond belief.

Meanwhile, BBC are showing the Copa America on the red button. Brazil have just gone ahead against Venezuela.

I was just about to say it was refreshing just to hear Clive Tyldesley again commentating on football and not just on Ant and Dec. Hearing Sam Matterface yesterday commentating the Belgium vs. Russia game, he doesn't generate excitement...
I get the feeling that despite the win (and entertaining game for the neutrals) for the Netherlands, there will be some stick and questions being asked of Frank De Boer over some of his decisions, especially the subs he made.

Yes, De Boer seems a bigger liability as manager as Maradona was in charge of Argentina.

EURO FACT OF THE DAY: This is Scotland's first ever game at the Euros that Gary McAllister hasn't started.

What a 2nd goal by the Czechs!

Matterface just pronounced Serie A as "Sirry-Ay". And he reckons Slovakia's kit is blue and black...

Emma Hayes is on co-commentary with Matterface. She's been OK, other than seemingly not understanding how own goals are credited.

And he described Slovakia's low strike from 15 yards out to go 2-1 up as "a screamer".

Awful result for Portugal. Never heard Ronaldo's name mentioned once

That's because he plays for Italy now as he's at Juvu.

Really fancied Wales today based on how bad Turkey were against Italy. Look almost certain to reach the knockout stages now and potentially a very favourable draw for them in the last 16.

Wales played superbly, especially in defence. Seems Rob Page has secured a tremendous team spirit and fearless way of attacking. They're a delight to watch.

I'm not that keen on the 24-team format with 3 teams qualifying through many groups. I'd rather have 32 teams with 2 qualifying from each group like it is in the World Cup.
