I'll start this off as my Dereham town fc season tickets arrived this morning in the post. Bring on August. I thought you supported Ipswich and they were going to walk League One this season by paying huge amounts for all the best players? There are 2 weeks left in the transfer window, so we'll see how a few of us can strengthen in that time. Ipswich have spent more than West Ham, don't know if i should laugh or cry

If Spurs are going to sell Kane they need to do so with a replacement in mind. All that money would be useless in the bank really and they do need a prolific goalscorer to play along Son and he and Kane had a very good partnership.
There's an enormous difference playing against Manchester City who will be attacking you and you can hit on the break, and some of the lower-placed teams they struggled against last season who will see Spurs as a big opponent and go defensive against them.

They've had wholesale changes and another cb is needed before they challenge the league. Give them time and either cook will master it or he'll be gone by Halloween.

We were promised that this year would be when we repair what all the previous owners had caused. We let Ben Amos go to Wigan, who finished below us last year and got Portsmouth's goalkeeper. They also finished below us in the end last season.
We signed Jayden Stockley who we had on loan last season, and signed Charlie Kirk from Crewe who we had almost signed in January anyway.
Mostly we have lost Chuks Aneke and he was a key player last year. Had we been able to put him on against Oxford he'd probably have grabbed us an equaliser, he was that kind of player. He may have helped us beat Sheff Wed too.
Our only goal so far this season has been a penalty.

Sheriff Tiraspol qualified for the Champions League group stage last night, making Moldova the 34th of UEFA's 55 members to be represented.

And in spite of our rather terrible start we are now above Ipswich.

Whitehawk beat Sittingbourne 1-0 yesterday in Ross Standen's first competitive home game since being appointed manager around 10 months ago. Both sides missed a penalty with two of the worst spot-kicks I can remember.

I don't think I've ever felt so deflated watching my side win 3-0 away from home.
As Liverpool's victory today at Leeds felt like a 7-0 loss, with that awful injury to Harvey Elliott (unlike Twitter, & the internet I'm not posting a screenshot) as he is a long way from being OK, in contrast to a British F1 driver who quite literally could have been killed today, but for safety improvements to the cars within the past half a decade.

Beating Shaktar was pretty amazing, but that is 10 times bigger, good luck to them, what I like about top flight football is the very rare unpredictable element that sometimes comes, like this.

And these are the games the big clubs wanted to get rid of at the very top, no small teams, no relegations = boring

It looks like Newcastle is about to be taken over by a Saudi backed considium in the next hour. While I want to see the back of Mike Ashley I don't want to see a Saudi owner in control of the club. Their human rights abuses ae disgraceful. That said, they will be investing up to Β£1bn in the club. www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/58827632

The fact that the consortium is led by someone implicated in the murder of a journalist should have meant that it took less than a minute to consider whether the bid was acceptable. Sorry Newcastle fans, I hope you are relegated.

Well I hope we aren't relegated but I can understand the anger as I'm not happy about it either.

But is it Newcastle's fault about the fit and proper test not working or the Premier League, how can you wish them relegated, when they have no say in who their owner is, incredibly harsh! Hold the Premier League to account, not the club! There are also two clubs owned by Chinese, their human rights abuses are just as bad! A couple owned by people who made their money off gambling, and we know how much that ruins peoples lives. Sure if we looked into Russian oligarchs as well, it wouldn't make for pretty reading either.
