Marine, who played Tottenham in the third round last season, need a replay against Workington. Having had both in the same division as us for the previous two seasons, this doesn't come as a surprise at all. Two of the strongest teams we've faced in the Northern Premier League and this was the worst possible draw for both clubs. Workington would've been promoted had the 19/20 season not been declared void.

Lost to a team a division above with predictions of promotion to conference south.
League is the important part of the season.

Ina match played yesterday, Whitehawk won 5-4 at Littlehampton. Two of Whitehawk's goals were apparently scored in the 86th minute which suggests Littlehampton's restart after the first of the two went horribly wrong for them. Next up is a trip to Slough.

Comprehensive thrashings there! I do wonder if some teams struggle for players midweek though with job commitments?

Comprehensive thrashings there! I do wonder if some teams struggle for players midweek though with job commitments? It does happen. Though you also have to consider the difference in levels. Buxton are two levels higher than Sherwood and Wingate are one higher than Basildon.

Amazing result for Marske, beating a full-time side who are top of their division at step 3. We are now unbeaten at home for 2 years.

Being at home you'd prefer Chester I'm guessing.

Well we've got Chester after they won 1-0 tonight. They're right next to each other in the table so pretty evenly matched. However, Darlo would've brought more fans with them, so in that respect, Chester works out better for us in terms of it still feeling like a home game, though it means a smaller crowd.
