In the curling - probably the best chance of GB getting the medal at these games - the men's team are comfortably through the round robin and into the semis. They're currently playing Canada and could play them again in the semis if they lose that match. If they win, they play either USA or Norway.
The women's team are relying on results elsewhere if they are to qualify for the semis but the must is they need to win against ROC in their last round robin match and hope Japan and at least one of Korea or Canada lose to qualify for the semis. Should Japan win their match, Korea and Canada need to lose their last matches due to GB losing against both teams in the round robin matches.

GB finish top after beating Canada and will face USA in the semis.
Zoe Atkin has qualified in 4th place for the women's freeski halfpipe final. Gus Kenworthy just made it into the men's final in 12th. Zoe's older sister Izzy won a slopestyle bronze medal four years ago but had to pull out of these Games due to injury.

GB women also through in the curling after beating ROC and finishing 4th on the draw shot tie breaker. They face Sweden in the semis.

Eve Muirhead is my favourite curler, good luck for her team.

That was a very tense semi-final! Our household seemed far more anxious than Bruce and his team. An exemplary performance, and a well deserved medal, whether it turns out to be gold or silver.

Bruce and his team have been exceptional in this competition and thoroughly justifies their current #1 ranking and deserves their guaranteed medal. I was worried the US could dominate, as they did in the round robin match but instead they crumbled in the last few ends and got their rewards from their patience.
The men's final against Sweden is a repeat of the European Curling Finals held a few months ago, where Scotland (GB team) won against Sweden in a cagey affair. Despite GB winning the round robin match and recent victories, it won't be easy winning the gold as Sweden will look to avenge their finals defeats from both the last Olympics and the Europeans.
It was dramatic for the GB women too this morning to scrape into the semi finals. Best of luck to them and hopefully make it 2 medals for GB.
