GB through to the women's curling final after winning a thriller against Sweden! GB led 11-8 going into the final end but Sweden picked up 3 to take the match to an extra end. GB held their nerve and clinched victory without Eve Muirhead even having to play her final stone. They will face Japan in the final.

And I thought the men's semi-final was tense. I don't think I'll be able to watch either of the finals.

I'm very happy for Eve and her team. Just do it and take gold.

Absolutely delighted for the GB women to be getting at least a silver medal and especially being a relatively new lineup in comparison to the other teams.
A repeat of the bronze medal match in 2018 against Japan, which I'm sure Eve would want to be on the right side of the result this time.

Panda, are GB currently the highest placed nation on your points table who do not yet have a medal ?

The curling team selection process is all wrong. We have to accept that most opposing teams will speak enough English to be able to eavesdrop on the British team discussions. Therefore, we should counter that by people with impenetrable accents - Glaswegians, for example.

Panda, are GB currently the highest placed nation on your points table who do not yet have a medal ? Prior to today they were, yes. They sat in equal 22nd place with 31 points. The next highest was Kazakhstan in 25th place with 22 points.

Never in doubt and deserved winners on both on the men's and women's curling. So chuffed for women and especially for Eve on her 4th games.
Also is it just me or the BBC presenter (Ayo?) a little annoying?

Japan is average in curling, but it does not diminish a gold medal of Great Britain.
Well done, Eve's team.

He was last night after the gold medal but overall I think he's done a solid job. He's far more comfortable (and experienced, from his Blue Peter background) doing live TV than JJ Chalmers, who had the same slot for Tokyo last year. Whilst her highlights show isn't live, I've been very impressed with Aimee Fuller as a presenter during these Games.

I thought I was being overly critical on him on what is a tough job filling time and interviewing various people. Just thought he was expressing too much emotion and said one too many "literally" when describing the reaction.
I agree he's not been too bad on the few times I've watched the early main show.
