ok after a hiatus, I feel like I can carry this on now but i will need to speed things up, replaying all the albums and reordering as I go was maybe a bit too ambitous, so lets see if I can get to 300 in quick time.

426 You Gotta Go There To Come Back - Stereophonics 425 Pushing the Senses - Feeder 415 See This Through And Leave - The Cooper Temple Clause 414 Era Vulgaris - Queens of the Stone Age 413 Men's Needs, Women's Needs, Whatever - The Cribs 411 Around The Sun - R.E.M. 410 Hi-Fi Serious - A 409 Human After All - Daft Punk 402 Mercury - Longview 401 Don't Believe The Truth - Oasis
These are the ones I either have, had or otherwise remember.
The weakest Daft Punk album by a mile so not surprised it's so low. I imagine another one from this decade will be quite a bit higher.
'Pushing The Senses' has two of my favourite ever Feeder singles on it but it's not that good of an album. Not my favourite Oasis album either. And I think YGGTTCB is the last Stereophonics album I bought; I was obsessed with them in my early teens but they started to sour for me after JEEP.
I LOVED 'Mercury' when it came out but far too sappy for me to listen to nowadays.
I remember A! God I haven't heard this album in ages, time to go hunting on YouTube. I loved 'Nothing' and 'Starbucks' but don't recall the rest of the album. I do recall how annoying they were to search for in the Napster days...

380 Dig Out Your Soul - Oasis
Ok we are fully back well maybe 85%. So lets kick off with Oasis's second best album of the 00s but there really isnt much between the top 2 both pretty solid. This was their 7th album and was released in 2008. It was a Uk number one and US #5.
379 Scissor Sisters - Scissor Sisters
This might be a surprise but this record has really aged well and many of the tracks I like more than I did then. It was of course their debut and reached #1 in the Uk and just #102 in the US in 2008

378 More Than You Think You Are - Matchbox Twenty
I was really late getting into Matchbox 20 well after their split, I knew the big hits but never paid them a lot of attention, I really like them now. This was their third album and was released in 2002. It reached #5 in the US and #31 in the UK.
377 Speakerboxxx/The Love Below - Outkast
Now something completely different, I defintely dont like everything on this double album but it would be a brilliant single album and it is just full of total bangers. This was their 5th album and reached #1 in the US and #8 in the UK in 2003.

376 Wait for Me - The Pigeon Detectives
One of the principle big names in the indie landfill era and this record is still good, ok its laddishness has dated a little but still a few bangers. It reached #3 in the UK in 2007 and was a platinum seller. Ok dont care its still fun!
375 This Is Not the World - The Futureheads
Their third album , they still have one to appear on the list, this was released in 2008 and reached #17 in the UK.

374 Science & Nature - The Bluetones
Their 1st and only appearance in the 2000s list. This was their third album and their last big hit, it reached #7 in 2000.
373 All Hands On The Bad One - Sleater-Kinney
A band that I probably havent given enough attention over the years, this is the only one I own. It was their 5th album and also released in 2000. It reached just #177 in the US and #156 in the UK.

372 Phantom Power - Super Furry Animals
A huge band for me in the 90s but they still get 2 albums on this list. This was their 6th album and released in 2003. It reached #4 in the Uk.
371 Original Pirate Material - The Streets
This album is very much a mood record, some I love all the time, others jsut annoy me but overall it had to be high ish on the list. It was their debut album and reached #12 in the UK in 2002.

419 Dusk And Summer - Dashboard Confessional 412 Hold Your Colour - Pendulum 408 Robbers & Cowards - Cold War Kids 399 Songs About Jane - Maroon 5 397 Love Angel Music Baby - Gwen Stefani 396 Start Something - lostprophets
These would be high in my favourites list (I think)
Dusk And Summer would be extremely high on my favourite albums list - top 20 maybe?
Hold Your Colour my second favourite Pendulum album after Immersion which I love.
Robbers And Cowards has one of my all-time favourite songs on it, with Hang Me Up To Dry.
Songs About Jane, I saw them live when they only had this album - it's a shame they ended up such a mess but the first couple of albums were stellar.
Love Angel Music Baby, I was obsessed when it came out. I don't think it's quite as strong now as I did then and some of it has not aged well at all, but it has Cool on it, another all time favourite, so I still love it.
Start Something - a great album. I'm still 50/50 on if I can listen to anything by them or not, sometimes I can, sometimes I just have to skip. Last Summer was a really important song for me though, which is extremely frustrating now.

Original Pirate Material is another one I was obsessed with when it was out, I haven't heard it in a long time but I enjoy the songs if they randomly show up on a playlist.

Catching up... I have or have some familiarity with: 400 Making Dens - Mystery Jets 399 Songs About Jane - Maroon 5 397 Love Angel Music Baby - Gwen Stefani 396 Start Something - lostprophets 391 Costello Music - The Fratellis 388 stellastarr* - stellastarr* 386 Black Market Music - Placebo 384 This Is Alphabeat - Alphabeat 382 Kid A - Radiohead 381 The Red Album - Weezer 379 Scissor Sisters - Scissor Sisters 378 More Than You Think You Are - Matchbox Twenty 377 Speakerboxxx/The Love Below - Outkast 376 Wait for Me - The Pigeon Detectives 375 This Is Not the World - The Futureheads Got to be honest, I was lukewarm about Maroon 5 in the beginning and I dislike them even more now! You couldn't move for 'She Will Be Loved' being played everywhere in my first year of uni and it went from being a sweet ballad to a song I got sick of very quickly. Mystery Jets I've gone the other way, really didn't like them at first but do much more now. Agree with you on Scissor Sisters and glad you highlighted 'Laura' as that's always been a favourite of mine. Ditto Matchbox Twenty and 'Unwell'; still love that one. The stellastarr* album was much loved by me as well, I still play 'My Coco' from time to time. Great song. Like Roo. I have mixed feelings on Lostprophets; this album has some amazing songs but I do find them difficult to listen to now. 'Kid A' would probably be in my top 20! Definitely my favourite Radiohead album of this decade. Oh and I really enjoy 'Black Market Music' but still cringe when I hear 'Commercial For Levi' because our school principal played it to us at assembly once in an attempt to tell us not to do drugs while being down with the kids at the same time
