A personal assistant of John and Yoko turned up at the record store (previously mentioned above). (Playback on other websites has been disabled by the video owner) www.youtube.com/watch?v=6UtLjpfp0zcMay Pang later went on to have two children & marry New York record producer Tony Visconti (David Bowie; T-Rex; Sparks & too many other acts to mention). On record you can hear her out Yoko Ono'ing on the Visconti produced opening track of the 1980 Scary Monsters album "It's No Game Pt 1".
One other recent youtube channel I've gravitated to is
Justin Hawkins Rides Again - The charismatic Darkness lead singer talking about numerous things relating to the music industry based on his experience and opinion.

I've seen a couple of Justin's vids. I don't always agree with him but I did enjoy his assessment of 'Call Me Little Sunshine' a few months back.

Patrik Pietschmann
I keep forgetting this channel exists! My partner reminded me of it the other day. Patrik is a German keyboard player and programmer who has made a name for himself on YouTube with some stunning keyboard arrangements of popular TV and movie themes. His videos are fun to watch as well as to listen to, as his playing is accompanied by colourful Tetris-style visualisations, created using his own bespoke software.

Mic the SnareI've been following this channel for a few months, not sure why it's never occurred to me to post it here. It's a bit more general-interest than other music-focused channels I sub to, and has a lot of content around the music industry, how music works and has evolved, as well as short reviews of current releases. The best thing about his channel, though, is the Deep Discog Dive series, which presents detailed histories of particular artists' recording careers, taking you through all their albums and how they were received. There are 35 of these to date, looking at artists ranging from Bjork, Pink Floyd, Radiohead, The Weeknd, Arctic Monkeys, King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard, and the latest I think was Fleetwood Mac. Rock Idol participants may enjoy his latest video on becoming better-acquainted with metal

Don't Hug Me .I'm Scared
Don't Hug Me I'm Scared(often abbreviated as DHMIS) is a British surreal comedy horror series created by Becky Sloan, Joe Pelling, and Baker Terry. The original web series consists of six episodes, released from 29 July 2011 to 19 June 2016 on YouTube but it has just got a second series being shown on channel 4! which premiered on 23 September 2022 on All 4 with simulcast on Channel 4 the next week. The series combines segments in live action, puppetry, traditional animation, flash animation, clay animation, and computer animation.
In the series, each episode starts like a typical children's series, consisting of anthropomorphic puppets akin to those featured in Sesame Street and other popular children's television programmes. The series parodies and satirizes these TV programmes by contrasting this childlike, colourful environment and its inhabitants against disturbing themes; each episode features a surreal plot twist in the climax, including psychedelic content and imagery involving graphic violence, dark humour, existentialism, and psychological horror.
The six episodes of the web series explore and discuss basic subjects typically found in preschool, namely creativity, time, love, technology, diet, and dreams, while the television series touched on jobs, death, family, friendship, transport, and electricity. The series received widespread acclaim for its story, production design, psychological horror, humour, themes, and characters, and is regarded by many as one the greatest web series of all time.

This is a piece of PR genius by the Daily Star newspaper:
LIVE: Can Liz Truss outlast a lettuce?
Truss v lettuce live-streamed survival battle attracts global media attention www.theguardian.com/politics/live/2022/oct/18/liz-truss-mini-budget-cabinet-backfire-conservatives-jeremy-hunt-uk-politics-latest?filterKeyEvents=false&page=with:block-634ecd268f08eb5467789b12#block-634ecd268f08eb5467789b12The live-streamed battle for survival between Liz Truss and a lettuce has become a global talking point, from Buenos Aires to Madrid. Political pundits across the world have been poring over the Daily Star’s broadcast in recent days as the British prime minister’s future has been plunged into doubt. “Who will win? Liz Truss or a lettuce?” wondered Portugal’s Renascença network alongside a video summarising the prime minister’s predicament. “I think that right now the lettuce is in a stronger position than the prime minister,” the journalist José Luis Sastre told listeners of Spain’s Cadena Ser radio network on Monday. Over the Atlantic in Latin America, the stand-off between Liz Truss and the lettuce has also sparked an outpouring of pity for the politician, as well as admiration for “el humor británico”. Mexico’s Aristegui Noticias was among the outlets which this week reported on the lettuce contest and wondered how long “la dama iceberg” would cling to her job. In Peru’s El Comercio newspaper, Milagros Asto Sánchez also asked whether Truss would outlast “a decomposing lechuga”. In Brazil, which is in the midst of a political crisis of its own, political scientists and pundits have been glued to the vegetable live-stream. “Liz Truss took over as prime minister less than a month ago, but the chaos ... in which her government finds itself has led many to ask how long she will remain in Downing Street,” Brazil’s Folha de São Paulo informed its readers as the Truss v lettuce struggle went on.

^ Sadly my new favourite stream is closing at 7PM tonight.
Clearly like The Titanic, Liz Truss was sunk by an Iceberg. I wonder if it is a Romaine(r)?
