I haven't even listened to this yet (at least not at the time of posting), but here it is. Taken from the band's forthcoming 8th album 'Formentera', itself due for release on 8th July.

Doomscroller is a grower and very different for them. 3rd song released is What feels like eternity and it’s as good as All comes crashing. On Facebook they’ve been releasing 15 secs snippets of the other tracks and it sounds really good. So if you like Metric, give it a listen when it’s out next Friday, sure it will be worth it.

Instant love them tracks - Enemies of the ocean, False dichotomy, All comes crashing and What feels like eternity. Growers and growing rapidly - Formentera, I will never settle, Oh please, Paths in the sky Absolute beasts - Doomscroller, the more I hear it the more I want to hear it, dark and uplifting at the same time, awesome. And what a travesty this will go nowhere near the album charts as they're on their own label

Being on your own label isn’t always an issue many acts are getting their biggest albums this year since going indie after being dropped such as Don Broco or MUNA but it is hard to stay in the top 75 more a lot of acts if you fall below a certain point you get buried by Spotify streams from catalogue.

Back with the first single from Formentera II. Just the once, a slice of regret disco pop. Gutted I missed these in Manchester back in Jan as my mum was ill
