The current trends in music allowing Pale Waves to take their sound further down the rockier route.

They sound like a different band every album! This is a solid track though.

And i like it, I've liked everything they've done really, got a one day music festival with Hupin soon, just been checking out clashfinder, few clashes but probably see the bands i highlighted in green, with the yellow ones an option, looks like a pretty full day, I would really want to see Manics but I'm seeing them anyway supporting The Killers next month ibb.co/7pBqrZF

'Lies' ended up growing on me quite a bit.
Another new one - this one's a bit more pop punk. Really like it as well.

Nice, I saw them a few years back but I'd be tempted again. So far I think I like the sound of this new album.

New Pale Waves was worried they had turned into Offspring, this literally is the riff from “Original Prankster’ but thankfully they go Paramore in the chorus.

Video for 'Clean' now out. Probably the best song on the album other than the previous singles; reminds me of 'Semi-Charmed Life' in part.

This was the female 1975, who now sound like a rip off avril lavigne? Maybe one album they will find their own sound?

This was the female 1975, who now sound like a rip off avril lavigne? Maybe one album they will find their own sound? I wouldn't say they sound like Avril now; more a mix of various pop-punk artists and influences. They were never going to win points for originality but they have definitely progressed since the first album. That said, I gave the new album a play on Friday and while I didn't dislike it, it's reinforced the opinion I have of them as a singles band. The songs are all good individually, but a whole album of them makes it more noticeable that their sound is a bit generic and (for me anyway) not enough to sustain my interest over a whole LP.
