I have just preordered their album and I am not sure they are getting much love or have been noticed here. They are a girl duo and they make music that is influenced by grunge, The Breeders and other 90s alt Rock. They are from LA and their third album is 'Household Name' out July 1. This is their current two singles Momma - Rockstar Momma - Speeding 72 Love this one the most its like Breeders meets 'Siamese Dream' era Pumpkins!!

Yeah I like, so much new rock to get through these days, I'm sure I'm missing loads of bands with great potential, I come across 200+ songs a week now, try and listen to clips of about 100 new songs a week, playlist 35 or so, shortlist 25 of them and chart 20 max, usually closer to 16 so a lot misses out, wouldn't surprise me if these failed the lame name test because if i played 5 seconds of their songs i would be intrigued but sadly i don't have the time or will to play everything, sometimes the luck of the draw (being top of a new release playlist, having a catchy name, artwork, song title, intro etc) is important when there's so much to get through.

I know thats why i am listening to radio more, thats where I heard them first, it makes it easier to filter if its a song ive already heard a couple of times. So i will be charting more acts later than week one now.

Like both of these a lot, my random music-finding techniques had missed them! Not that I need even more music for consideration for my next chart but the more the merrier...

Had a couple of plays of the new album and it's great!
