Although Linen Mill Studios was used for some of the filming of the later series, the HQ for GoT was Titanic Studios in Belfast. This remains a working tv and film studio, and has heavy security around it. However, they continue to use the King's Landing set for other productions. The back of the set can just be seen through a chain link fence, with one of the famous Harland & Wolff cranes looming over it. Here's a photo of the same set in use for GoT. The interestingly pointy modern white building with black glass in the top right is the Titanic Museum. Also visible from the road is a pile of scrap metal, which on closer inspection turns out to be a rusting white walker army which was torched during the Battle of Winterfell.

Northern Ireland is crammed with outdoor locations used in GoT. Beaches, cliffs, ruined abbeys, castles, bridges, hillside, woodland... You could easily spend a week visiting them all, and you'd see some of Northern Ireland's most beautiful countryside. For my final photo, here's the most famous of those outdoor locations - the Dark Hedges.
