I went for Tatu, but I might have picked Kelly Rowland if it had been that battle!

I would've said I liked them about the same, but just checked my ipod. Sinead is there, Tatu is not, so Sinead gets my vote.

At the time Sinead did better in my chart, #9 compared to #19 of TATU, but I can hardly remember how the Sinead Quinn song goes now, whereas I do remember that TATU song.
It was probably around the time Feeder were #1 in my chart with "Just The Way I'm Feeling", a song I heard on Radio X today.

From something personal to famous. We have Rod Stewart against Sex Pistols on Elizabeth II's Silver Jubilee.
Do you believe in the story that UK # 1 was fake on this week in 1977 ?

The Sex Pistols were only #5 in Melody Maker

Do you believe in the story that UK # 1 was fake on this week in 1977 ? No. That story has long since been debunked. Even the continuously self-promoting Richard Branson, who owned the record label that Sex Pistols were signed to, says that Rod was way ahead of them.

But since you've deleted the poll, we'll never know the truth. Before darkstar79 vote it was 7-7 draw, when I closed the round 8-7. Who removed his/her vote for Rod Stewart? In the previous round one vote for Sinead Quinn was deleted too. Please don't do it again. I want to hold all battles in one thread. Is it possible to lock the previous poll and remove it after some hours for the next voting ?

We moved in October 2000. In the previous Rock vs Pop (Steps vs Manics) battle we got 18 votes (record). Let's do it again with three legendary acts : U2, Robbie Williams and Kylie Minogue.

I went with 'Kids', but neither are up there with my favourites by the artists involved.
