97. The Hellacopters - So Sorry I Could Die 🇸🇪
Swedish rock band The Hellacopters had a good run in the late 90's/early 00's before disbanding amicably in 2008 but 2022 saw them back better than ever with "Eyes of Oblivion" which was full of great songs including this bluesy number

Three brothers from Las Vegas keeping glam emo rock alive, this one definitely has “Welcome to the Black Parade” vibes,

95. The 5:55 - Worriers 🇺🇸
Next up is a band many won't know but they should because they make straight up energetic indie rock bangers, The 5:55 are a rock band from the Washington D.C./Virginia area that released a great album in 2022 called "Focus Moron".

94. The Linda Lindas - Tonite 🇺🇸
The all-girl group comprises Bela Salazar, Eloise Wong, Lucia de la Garza, and Mila de la Garza won Xmas Vision with "Groovy Xmas", this one was a stand alone single and a cover of the Go Go song, a band I ended 2022 loving but were probably my most under charted act in my top 100

These are another criminally underrated band, these guys are from Newcastle and released their debut album in 2021 called Infinite Pleasure

92. Classless Act - All That We Are 🇺🇸
Another band I discovered in 2022, they did songs with Vince Neil of Motley Crue and Justin Hawkins of The Darkness so that's the level of rock here! "All That We Are" was the highest charting of their singles for me

91. YUNGBLUD - The Emperor 🏴
Another great year for Yungblud, he scored his second #1 album in 2022, released a load of great singles, a duet with Avril Lavigne and is moving into stadium tours, if your a fan check out his recent Louis Theroux interview

90. Dorothy - Black Sheep 🇺🇸
Extremely powerful, hard rocking female vocals with a bluesy feel. The song was released as the second single back in March from their third studio album “Gifts from the Holy Ghost”.

Oakman are a French electro pop band that sound like a cross between CHVRCHES and Eliza & The Delusionals. They had a great 2022 in my chart with 5 songs in my top 400, "Murder" #130, "All The Way Up" #201, "SCP" #251 "Fantasy" #269

87. Starcrawler - Broken Angels 🇺🇸
Another great relatively new female fronted band, fronted by the charismatic Arrow de Wilde, they are very 1970's inspired with a hint of pop-punk that remind me of The Runaways

The Interrupters - In The Mirror 🇺🇸I love these guys, I discovered them back in 2018 with "She's Kerosene", heavily inspired by 2 tone and ska music Aimee Interrupter and her band have been in great form lately with new album "In the Wild" and featuring on the new Bedouin Soundclash single Peak Position: #4

85. The Night Flight Orchestra - Black Stars And Diamonds 🇸🇪
The Night Flight Orchestra is a Swedish hard rock band from Helsingborg signed to Nuclear Blast records, they are a bit of a super group from several well known metal bands (SOILWORK, ARCH ENEMY, MEAN STREAK) but make erm disco infused AOR from the 70s/80s

Puppy is an English rock band from London, formed in 2014 that have released two albums since 2019, "The Goat" and "Pure Evil", They are described by Spinefarm Records as combining "the left-field melodic turns of Weezer, the hazy fuzz of Smashing Pumpkins and the band themselves have stated that their goal, musically, "was to aim for somewhere between Teenage Fanclub and Black Sabbath"

80. The Aces - Girls Make Me Wanna Die 🇺🇸
The Aces are an American alternative pop band that I've long been a fan of, I picked up their debut single "Stuck" back in 2016 that bubbled under my top 75 at #89 and their next single "Physical" broke my top 40, they made a good appearance i think in Haven Vision? They lost me a little in the middle of their career but this one was a banger

The girls are really representing with 8 of my last 12 acts being female fronted and a nine being called Sea Girls lol, these are a high energy alt-rock/pop band helmed by N. Irish musician and songwriter Shauna Tohill.

78. Tom Grennan - All These Nights 🏴
Probably one of the biggest chart acts in my top 100 with this one peaking at #37 and Tom now having 8 top 40 singles including the excellent "Little Bit of Love"
