Good in an 8 out of 10 sort of way. Hopefully a grower.

The best thing about this is the bassline. It's not bad.

An earthy and slinky evolution from her Future Nostalgia era. It has very The Weeknd reinvented early 1980s synth pop vibes.
Visually, the styling, the aesthetics, and the video are great.
The only problem I have with it is they've forgot to compose a great tune to go with it. I've heard it 5 times and its hooks have not landed on me yet. But hopefully it is a real grower.
I'll be shocked if this is not next week's UK #1 single.

Well, much better than Houdini. The video not so much.

I really like Training Session; probably because it reminds me of this musical gem:

She probably could have done without hyping how 'different' this new record was going to sound with 'psychedelic' sounds and Tame Impala on board.. because the two singles so far don't sound very different at all from any of her previous singles. Not that that's an issue for me as I've enjoyed all her output to date

Great video! 6/10 song on first listen, but growing on me.
