That's remarkable progression. I've only listed Games this century, but if you go back to 1996, the comparison between British medals would be 17-1 after 5 days. GB finished the Atlanta Olympics with a total of 15 medals. Is it a case that there have been progressively more medals on offer now at the Olympics than as it was at the start of the century?

Stunning display by Biles on the Vault. Well deserved Gold.
Another Gold too for Ledecky who dominated the 800 metres.

Watching the rowing now. Moe Sbihi might have the most boring voice I've ever heard. Now the rowing is completed. I found Moe Sbihi commentary very informative as the week has gone on but does go into coach mode psychology talk in the middle of the race often. His voice is quite monotone but I've gotten used to it in the few rowing highlights I've seen.
The lead commentator Katie Smith I'm not too sure about. Almost similar to Matterface IMO in spilling out whatever info she knows and asking too many "can they..." questions during a race. She obviously done her homework on the GB rowing athletes but doesn't give much info on the other teams and she's very much focused (quite rightly) on where GB are placed in the race.

I’m delighted that Imane Khelif is going to win a medal. She deserves it, especially due to the horrible abuse she’s had to suffer and to put two fingers up to all the gammon/keyboard warriors who seem to suddenly be experts on the subject of female hormones! Hopefully it’s gold, but any medal is a great achievement!!!

GB's men about to go into a shootout against India in their quarter-final after drawing 1-1. India played half the game with 10 men after a red card...

The final round of the golf is tremendous. It has really tightened up in the last five minutes or so.
