But that is sexist? Well life is sexist in the opposite direction, so it's nice to see it flip for once

So now the women's final is decided, and shock horror it's an all Blegiamese final, Clijsters-Henin-Hardenne, and the men's final is Safin-Federer/Ferrero

Safin is doing well from what I hear, and nice to see a non williams sisters final Three of the last four grand slam finals haven't had either Williams Sister playing dear, they've all been Clijsters-Henin-Hardenne... I'm hoping Clijsters finally wins one...

You know I dont really follow tennis david, so try not to be so patronising I just remember a debate recently about the williams sisters and how many games they had lost in their careers...

Well if you will come up with such uninformed commentary, you should expect to be corrected... I'm sorry that a gaylord like me knows more about sport like me, but do try not to be threatened by it!

But I would never be patronising to you about footy, if I knew more about it than you that is;) And it wasn't that uninformed, at least I said Williams sisters and not brothers! ;D

So Justine Henin-Hardenne won again. Proof, if ever it was needed that Kim Clijsters has to be the least worthy no.1 in the Woman's Game ever!

Bah, Kim Clijsters has beaten everyone there is to beat, just not in the Grand Slam finals, and let's remember she's still rather young... I do hope she wins a Slam soon though, it's gotta be disheartening...

I was being provocative...I read earlier in the thread that you were a Clijsters fan.. However, I do think that a fully fit Serena could well be as dominant like Graf was in most of the 90s. That's if she wants to...

I can't help thinking that Serena's game doesn't exactly help her physical state if I'm honest, she pushes herself very hard, and you can't do that 45 weeks a year without something giving out... If she played fewer events it could be better for her, but then she wouldn't get as much match practice, it's a vicious circle...
And Steffi's main period of dominance was in the late 80s, Olympic Slam in 88, 3 Slams in 89, then Seles came along...
