Rooney is ugly but he is good. Watch out Kovac! As for France, seems like the referree has something against Thierry Henry

When Croatia made the first goal I stopped watching. The teams I want to win always seem to f*** up when I watch. I turned on the TV again with ten minutes left and yes indeed England was leading.
The analysis by the commentators after the game said one thing here . England will lose in the quaterfinal against Portugal. I hope not but I think they're right.

It's a hard one to call in the quarters, one off game and Portugal have not looked that good, neither have we in defence, but if we can attack, could set up a thrilling game. Do people expect us to beat Portugal? Whereas we would be expected to beat Greece wouldn't we, so less expectation!? I assume you were down the pub robin, bet that was great!

After the game everyone ran out into the street and started singing '3 Lions'! ;D I've got to admit, I was so nervous before the game, I should have listened to my darling coz she's always so right

How do you feel about us playing Portugal, do you think we can do it? And Robin, singing 3 lions in the street sounds fab, always sends a shiver down my spine. Although I was singing all together now this morning after hearing it on the moyles show.

Were you still not nervous, even after Croatia scored? How do you feel about us playing Portugal, do you think we can do it? Yes! Scoring first means nothing. England were a bit lucky cuz Croatia scored early in the game, that helped them give the best of them. I knew they wud come back for few reasons I ignore (it was a feeling) & simply cuz for me England IS the strongest team in that group. France isn't impressive at all, without Zidane they wud have been back home by now. I don't know about portugal. It's certainly not the team it used to be a couple of years ago. If England keep the ball and use all the pitch it wud give Portugese some hard times. The three lines shud play close to each other so that the ball cud be passed easily. The defenders should keep a close eye on Cristiano, he's a poison. If they control his moves, very few balls wud reach Gomez & co. I believe England CAN win the match, they just need to forget that they're playing in portugal Now I REALLY DO believe ;D

I can't believe it!!! There is no topic for FRANCE VS TOGO Everything goes wrong when Winney is away... I have to say France scares me these days, i dont think they can win anything with such a poor level... But what is important is that they won yesterday... My fave teams so far are SPAIN PORTUGAL (Ronaldo ) and ITALY WATCH OUT FRANCE VS SPAIN

The England-Croatia game was shown last week as part of the Euros Rewind series the BBC are doing atm. Remember going to the pub after work with workmates, must have missed the early part of the match. Wished I'd watched the match at home though, being around workmates mates and not being able to drink wasn't good. Remember being at the bar for one of Rooneys' goals, think it was the 2nd, and the place went mad. Didn't appreciate at the time how well we played, not sure we've played better in a Euros group game this century?

not sure we've played better in a Euros group game this century? There's not much competition to be fair.
