Having said that, most of our players are still under contract, so we're stuck with the same useless faces for another season yet! ![:-X](//storage.proboards.com/999290/images/KOutpqHozaIckRb0PlAM.gif)

From Middlesbrough's official website:
"BORO have this afternoon agreed terms with Portsmouth as well as personal terms for the transfer of powerful Nigerian international striker Yakubu.
The 22-year-old forward has been at Rockliffe Park today and a deal has been agreed with a view to his transfer to Boro from July 1.
"We've agreed a fee with Portsmouth and agreed personal terms with the player," said chief executive Keith Lamb.
"He's currently having a medical, we don't anticipate any problems and expect him to be a Middlesbrough player in the very near future.
"He fills Steve McClaren's requirements as he's young, a goalscorer, and the next generation. We've got Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink and Mark Viduka and I'm sure Yakubu joining our strikeforce it will give us even more strike power.
Asked if anyone will be leaving the club he said: "Who knows? But we're interested in adding to the squad and improving the squad at the moment."
Yakubu, seen here challenging Boro skipper Gareth Southgate, scored 17 goals in 35 starts for Portsmouth this season, including 13 in the Premiership.
In his first season in the Premiership he blasted 19 goals including 11 in the last ten games and four in the final game alone - the 5-1 win over Boro at Fratton Park.
A six-footer, he originally joined Pompey on loan from Israeli side Maccabi Haifa, scoring seven goals and earning a £400,000 permanent transfer.
He has also scored nine goals in 22 games for Nigeria and has played club football in Nigeria, Portugal and the Ukraine as well as Israel and England."

That leaves Hasselbaink, Viduka, Yakubu and Danny Graham.

We have a NEW manager! ;D Gudjar Thorardson (former Stoke City and Barnsley gaffer). I won't get excited yet, as we've had so many sh*t managers in the past, but i'm quite pleased with the appointment! ![:D](//storage.proboards.com/999290/images/rJkVIIEHuaszVDhOsQtH.gif)

And we are looking to sign Charlie Griffin from Forest Green Rovers, but refuse to pay 50k fro Tommy Wright from leicester ![:-/](//storage.proboards.com/999290/images/iQNFaLKvAhue0vpkMytp.gif) Meanwhile we sign Chris Beardsley for 5k from Kiddy and prolly Danny Bacon (My cousin) from Hucknall ;D Gonna be a bloody young side, so CP has decided to don his boots again at 39 oh dear god, someone please break his leg while he's on holiday, please! ![:-[](//storage.proboards.com/999290/images/sStDBPuQXleoqpIJwHYi.gif)
