European Group 3: ESTONIA 2-1 LATVIA Estonia virtually end Latvia's hopes of qualification with this victory. Estonia move level on points with Latvia but both are 4 points behind Slovakia and Russia. On a completely random note, I know someone from Latvia.

European Group 4: SWITZERLAND 1-1 ISRAEL Yet another draw in the group where everyone's scared of beating each other. Switzerland go ahead of Ireland on goal difference, a point ahead of Israel and 3 ahead of France, who play the Faroe Islands later. Israel could hold the key in this group, as their last 2 games are both against the Faroe Islands.

European Group 2: GEORGIA 1-1 UKRAINE An 89th-minute equaliser for Georgia means Ukraine have to wait a little longer to clinch their place in the finals. They will qualify if Turkey fail to beat Denmark this evening. Failing that, a draw against Turkey on Wednesday will see them through.

European Group 5: SCOTLAND 1-1 ITALY Scotland lead for over an hour but Fabio Grosso's equaliser inches Italy closer to the finals. Scotland still have a chance but they desperately need Norway and Slovenia to draw this evening if they're to reach the play-offs...

Glad to be of service! ;D
It's a good result on paper but in terms of qualification, doesn't help Scotland much...

You'll probably have to win your last 3 games to get in the play-offs but you never know...
