Thought I'd do this to complement the Football League one we already have. Teams that have been relegated to the conference, ie old football league teams dont feature. Teams with an *are currently in the Conference. Dagenham & Redbridge have been removed as they have been promoted and become a Football League team now. Histon are also on here as they are promoted from the Conference South fro next season. Any errors please let me know.

Interesting list, cheers for posting it.
Burton should beat their highest peak so far, though i'm really hoping for a play-off place!

Why are Histon promoted? They're 13 ahead with 5 games to go. Is Salisbury's ground not up to Conference standard or something?

Interesting list, didnt realise that Dover and Slough had been as successful in the Conference. It just shows how much they've fallen in the last 10-15 years. Though Dover have got a chance of going up via the playoffs this season, if they don't both could be at step 4 next season.
I'll see what I can find out about Histon's promotion too.

Amended with new peaks for Burton Albion and St Albans City in 2006/07. Altrincham, St Albans and Tamworth have the * removed as they are relegated, Histin are added as they are promoted, not sure who else is deffo up, need to check, also got the playoffs ongoing in the Conf North and South at the mo.

Gravesend & Northfleet have changed their name to Ebbsfleet United! Oh and Droylsden are promoted from Conf North, have they never been in the Conference before? Droylsden are in the Conference for the first time. The playoffs also feature some potential newcomers. North: Farsley Celtic v Kettering Town Hinckley United v Workington South: Bishop's Stortford v Salisbury City Havant & Waterlooville v Braintree Town Unusual name change for Gravesend! I must say I'm not a fan of "Town A & Town B" names though...

Salisbury have 'City' on the end of their name.
It'll be interesting to see how the promoted clubs do next season. I feel the Southern clubs will have a better chance of doing well. Not sure how Droylsden will do but I'd be surprised if Farsley managed to stay up.

Just bumping this to see if anyone can be getting new peaks this year, the new teams to the conference, although a couple look like they will go straight back down again!

Haven't seen this thread before but I can add something about Gravesend and Northfleet's name change for people who don't know. The change is connected with a sponsorship by Eurostar and is to promote Ebbsfleet station which is on the new route from St. Pancras opening later this month.

I'm currently working on an average rankings list (like the one I do for Football League clubs) for non-league clubs. It will be based on positions in the Conference (plus North & South since they began) and the premier divisions of the Northern Premier, Isthmian and Southern Leagues since the Conference began in 1979.
I have all the data for the Conference. I just need to put together the information for the other 3 leagues. I'll post it on here when it's done.
