Shame Dover couldn't go up Yea Would have been nice to have a Kent team in conference to replace Ebbsfleet. Welling are considered Kent as well i think but not as interested in them. With Mansfield no longer in the conference my interest in that division is going to be more sparse than it has been for a while, even with Dartford, and to a lesser extent Welling, in it. Dover played 35 mins of the final with 10 men, and even equalised a man down, so it makes you wonder whether they might have won with 11 men. The manager Chris Kinnear said that was only their 2nd defeat in 20 something games since he took over (replacing Nicky Forster). If they can take that form into next season they'll be one of the contenders for the title. Kinnear has also taken Margate into the conference before, as champions in 2000–01, (hard to believe though that now is) so he's got the qualifications for it.

Possible peaks coming up for Alfreton, Braintree, Gateshead (though whether they should be on the list is debatable) and Salisbury, and a guaranteed peak for Hyde, though they're going to finish bottom.

And are we getting any new teams coming up next season?

It's between North Ferriby United and Telford for the Conference North title, so one possible there. The other playoff spots are currently occupied by former Conference clubs Altrincham, Hednesford and Boston but there are a load of possible debutants within touching distance: Harrogate, Brackley, Guiseley and Solihull Moors.
In the South, a debutant looks likely with Eastleigh and Bromley currently 1st and 2nd. Sutton, Ebbsfleet and Dover complete the top 5 but the chasing pack includes Havant & Waterlooville, Staines Town and Concord Rangers.

Funny I thought Eastleigh and Havant and Waterlooville had alreayd been in the Conference Prem? Aren't Solihull Moors a merged team as well, or have I got that wrong as well?

Solihull Moors is the result of a merger between Solihull Borough and Moor Green, neither of whom ever played in the Conference Premier.

Cheers, just my old confused brain, I checked the other two, not sure why I thought they'd been in the conference, eastleigh/eastbourne perhaps and havant's good cup run.

So new peaks for:
Gateshead (3rd) Braintree Town (6th) Alfreton Town (11th)
Chester, Dartford, Tamworth and Hyde are down. Telford return next season and Eastleigh will make their debut.
The Conference North playoff final features possible debutants Guiseley (for the second season in a row) and Conference stalwarts Altrincham. The South final is a derby between former Conference sides Dover Athletic and Ebbsfleet United.

New peaks for: Eastleigh (4th - debut season) Forest Green Rovers (5th)
Alfreton, Telford, Dartford and Nuneaton are down.
From the Conference North, Barrow return as champions, while the playoffs feature possible debutants AFC Fylde and Guiseley, along with former Conference clubs Boston and Chorley.
From the South, we're guaranteed two debutants with Bromley up as champions and Boreham Wood, Basingstoke Town, Whitehawk and Havant & Waterlooville in the playoffs.

Forest Green guaranteed a new peak this season and Dover likely to get one as well. Braintree could still beat their peak from a couple of years ago. Bromley, Guiseley and Boreham Wood all guaranteed new peaks as debutants.

Solihull Moors promoted to the National League tonight for the first time. Neither Solihull Borough nor Moor Green (the two clubs that merged to form Solihull Moors) ever played in the Conference.

Updated, but we potentially could still have some newbies in for next season from the playoffs.

Added new peaks for Hartlepool and Leyton Orient as ex league teams in the conference for the 1st time, 15th and 13th, and obviously Chesterfield join the list next season, and will Barnet or Morecambe be joining them?
