It was totally uncalled for. It's not as if he'd done anything that could be perceived as unreasonable. I can't blame him for not being happy about it. darts is like any other sport and requires concentration

It's not a game that requires complete silence to play to be fair, but nor does it call for someone to behave in such a disrespectful way.

just watched the replay of the Ted hankey match the behavior of a small minority of the crowd was a disgrace same thing was happening at the pdc one as well It happens all the time at the PDC events. They seem to attract less knowledgeable fans who've only gone there to see Taylor (a bit like snooker matches involving Jimmy White and Ronnie O'Sullivan). I don't know if it was any better this time with it moving away from the Circus Tavern. It's very rare to see something like that at the Lakeside, though.

There are a number of players on good form at the moment but I just can't see anyone stopping Wolfie.

There are a number of players on good form at the moment but I just can't see anyone stopping Wolfie. Darryl Fitton's got a great chance if he plays like he did last night. I don't think Adams is playing as well as he did last year. The scoreline flattered him last night. Whitlock's a solid player but I'm not sure he's good enough to win it and Roosenbrand will be a huge test. Brian Woods looked impressive in the 1st round, but I think Co Stompe could do something this year...

Bloody hell, talk about a rapid fall from grace. According to his Wikipedia entry he's been acting like a bit of a loose cannon.

I remember Wallace. McDanger!
With regards to Hankey, he can be great on his day but has never really shown the consistency needed to win the title again since 2000.
Woods has been the best player in the bottom half of the draw so far, though Co Stompe matched him tonight. Stompe just couldn't find the doubles.
Based on what we've seen so far, I think the champion will come from the top half of the draw.
