Apparently most of the Ivory Coast team have played Champions League football this season (for various clubs). That's quite impressive. No wonder they are favourites. I thought they did look good against Nigeria, but Drogba was off the pace. Perhaps he is not fit yet after his knee injury.

Because I'm at uni I can't get either BBC3 or BBCi which is a massive shame! But I did find 9 minute highlights of Ghana vs Guinea on youtube this morning! I was glad to see Junior Agogo start and play a prominant part for Ghana. I would be gutted if he'd just gone to be a 'squad player'. But didn't think he'd start! There was no contact for the penalty imo He dived

Watched the highlights of the Nigeria-Ivory Coast game. It looked a mouthwatering match on paper, but in reality it was pretty disappointing apart from Kalou's brilliant solo goal. Did catch the last 5 mins of the first half live and there's no studio analysis at half-time which means during that time you're just watching nothing, waiting for the 2nd half to start. Along with what mrh said, its worth pointing out that the games are also on British Eurosport as well. yeah, we're watching them on eurosport as well, highlights on bbc3, I thought the Nigeria v I coast was disappointing as well, great goal though, although as Sam pointed out, the goalie moved out of the way of the ball benin need to attack more instead of trying to play for a 0-0, much better game after they went 1-0 down.

Must mention to save any confusion that i watched it live (a bit of it anyway) on BBCi. Forgot that their interactive coverage is only the action, its the same with the tennis as well. May watch it on Eurosport, see what its like. Oh, and did Emerse Fae play for the Ivory Coast at all? I missed the teams, but i'm pretty he didn't..

Group C: Egypt 4-2 Cameroon Just seen the highlights of this and it showed exactly why i thought Cameroon aren't the force they were, and with Eto scoring both their goals, and their only goal threat, also seem to be a one man team. Bikey didn't have the best of games conceding a penalty for the first goal and his lack of pace was also shown up at times.

Another cracking goal at the end their to tie it! I saw about half of the 2nd half (about 25 mins worth) and in that time there was only one team in the game, Senegal. Didn't see their 2nd goal, but as you say it was a cracking equaliser from Tunisia from nowhere Also noticed Sonko wasn't playing. I know he's out of form but if he's not going to play then there really is no point in him being there.
