Ghana seem to be getting better, Guinea are ok.

Yeah we got through! This in spite of a poor result but it didn't really matter. If Morocco beat Ghana then we probably weren't going through even if we won, and if they didn't, a draw was enough.

Morocco looked second best throughout the match, while Ghana seem to be getting better and better. I can see them reaching the final at this rate

for Senegal They're going to struggle to get through, and they need Tunisia to do them a favour. They should beat South Africa, but then they should have beaten Tunisia! Tbh it wouldn't surprise me if Tunisia lost.

Have to see who they get in the quarters? Yeah, Nigeria or Ivory Coast would be tough... not so sure about Mali.

Watching the highlights of the Ivory Coast match proved just why they are the clear favourites. They cruised through the match, rested players, and still won comfortably. Nice to see Fae make his first start in the tournament too Interesting to see him play on the right side of midfield when he's basically a central midfielder, and also tracking back and putting his foot in, as from Coppell's comments that's probably the main reason why he's hardly featured, even on the bench, this season.

Ivory Coast were my team 2 years ago when they unluckily lost the final to Egypt.
Now I just have to hope Drogba and co have a bad game.

Group C:
Cameroon 3-0 Sudan Egypt 1-1 Zambia
Egypt top group, Cameroon also through. Sudan are out having failed to score a goal (in fact, they lost all 3 games 3-0).
Group D is wide open - however a draw between Tunisia & Angola will see both teams through.

I watched the South Africa game on the other channel and it was better, South Africa played some attacking flowing football.

Watched the highlights of the Senegal-South Africa game. Always thought it would tough for Senegal to win regardless of the result in the other game, but quite frankly they should have lost to South Africa. Disappointed they're out but it will mean that Sonko is back earlier than expected. Having not played at all in the tournament and only flying home tomorrow i think its highly unlikely he'll be involved at the weekend though.

Quarters on sunday and monday I think? Yea, not sure what time they're all on, but the Ivory Coast-Guinea game is definitely 8.30pm on Sunday, and i presume the Monday games are either 5pm or 7.30/8.30pm with the other Sunday game at 5pm?
