Looked a good game from what I saw of it, couple of great saves by the Egypt goalie made the difference! I just hope Cameroon go for it in the final and give us a great game.

Right team won, Cameroon came to win on penalties and I hate that, just a shame Egypt scored so late, a goal in the 10th minute may have made Cameroon play more openly earlier on?

Well done Egypt. They deserved it. I wonder if Mohamed Shawky will be able to find a place in the Boro team...
Why the hell can't Egypt qualify for the World Cup though?

Shame I missed the 3rd/4th play off, sounds like a good game. Who top scored then?

Cameroon's Samuel Eto'o top-scored with 5 goals (all in group stage) - however he didn't even make the bench in the overall "Best XI" team.

In 2006 they were in the same group as Cameroon and the Ivory Coast; and in 2002 they were drawn with Senegal (who qualified, and beat France) and Morocco (who were in the '98 finals).
