I watched a bit of what happened with this and thought something was weird when I heard that technical voice. Anyway, I'll watch this on More4 tomorrow when its repeated

Definitely looks like a 6 figure amount. There's the comma and then 3 figures!

.....that was really bizarre that they decided to leave that in the programme and not cut it..........up until the dropped box Massimo was doing well and still had the 250K and the 100K and then when the boxes were dealt out again it all went downhill for him. I guess the producers wanted to show how they cope when something does go wrong.

Definitely looks like a 6 figure amount. There's the comma and then 3 figures! There's going to a a comma and 3 figures with any red though. It's the gap from the final zero to the end of the red rectangle that's the only clue Penny I think they had to include it to explain how Massimo became so distant and cautious with his deal. Maybe the box numbers had to change as well, I'm not sure. Still, it made interesting TV and made for a good unique game

I missed what happened here... We came in when he had a great board, what was the offer he received before he took out the 250k and 100k, and what exactly has happened, he's knocked his box off and revealed what was in it?

Someone else knocked their box off and revealed the amount.

They reshuffled the boxes still in play, including Massimo's. He wouldn't have wanted to restart considering he had a very strong board
The offer before he took out the 250k and 100k was 16k

But surely the contestants would see what was in his box? And so know if they had a big figure or not? Real shame as he was doing so well!

That's the point. There doesn't seem to be any confirmation from about what was in his box as of yet, which strikes me as unusual. The fact that Mass wasn't told at the end what was in his original box before the fall suggests that he was on for a much bigger win

I dont think he should have had to swap his box, mix the others up by all means, but he should keep his box, he chose it after all.

They can't have done that - he would have known that his box didn't contain the amount that was in the dropped box

But he didn't see the amount in the dropped box, he said he knew it was red, that was all.

him knowing it was a red gave him a distinct advantage tho
he knew it was atleast £1000, and very likely to be more so he cud just carry on n open his box!

The only he'd benefit, was if after the other boxes were shuffled, he's left with 250,000 and 1000, so he knows the 1000 is out there as his box hasn't been shuffled, but do any of us know 100% that that box on the floor was 1000, or 3000, or 50000?

Timely deal as well Oh, and must Tom ruin everyone's game - he knocked over his box on Saturday, he reveals the quarter of a million today
