Firstly can I point out that the following two are surely the same song...
Giorgio Moroder & Philip Oakey - Together In Electric Dreams Phil Oakey - Electric Dreams
Shouldn't they therefore be through automatically for gaining more than 1 nomination?
In the assumption that is correct, I'd choose:
Aztec Camera - Somewhere In My Heart Cure – Why cant I be you? Depeche Mode - Never Let Me Down Duran Duran - Rio Giorgio Moroder & Philip Oakey - Together In Electric Dreams Martha & The Muffins - Echo Beach Pet Shop Boys - Left To My Own Devices Primitives - Crash Voice of the Beehive – I walk the earth Voice Of The Beehive - Don't Call Me Baby

Oh, I shall re-choose then! How did you select the ones that went automatically through then? Size of hit, fact if it is still known today, cult status, etc, etc, I tried my best to leave personal taste out of it as Midnight Oil is on this list here and not likely to progress Oh and if some bands had more than 1/2 songs nommed, I tried to put some of theirs on this list, it was a hard choice and I know people will moan about it, but the list needed cutting down to 100, and this looked the best way. If I have missed any gems off, they will pick up the votes now...And after 7 votes, only 1 song has 4 votes...
