I've already heard 'Fields Of Gold: Best Of Sting (1984 - 1994)' and was wondering what the best album to get after this one is, thanks...

His best album is Dream of the Blue Turtles. This is a great place to start for anyone who loves Sting! Gems that aren't on the Greatest Hits include "Moon Over Bourban Street", "Fortress Around My Heart" and "Children's Crusade"

Talking of Police, I was into them when I was 12...
And I nearly ended up with one of their albums on Saturday, well I was going to trade it for my Simon & Garfunkel album but I wanted the Sting album which I'm not alllowed...
There is another Sting album round the house somewhere, can't remember which one though...
Robin, the songs you mentioned might be on one of his foreign GH albums of the same name I think?

'Fortress Around My Heart' is my fave Sting track, its one of about five that come near the quality of The Police

I love Sting. Fields Of Gold is a great place to start, but he's had so many other great songs I don't know where to begin. Ten Summoners Tales is good and I always thought Mercury Falling was totalling under-rated, it's one of my fave albums by him. I love 'Let Your Soul Be Your Pilot' and 'I'm So Happy I Can't Stop Crying'.
Anyone have any thoughts on his last album? It's ok but I was a little disappointed by it, nothing on it really grabbed my attention aside from Stolen Car.
