My two Happy Nations arrived today so this evening I'm having a mini Ace Of Base listening marathon going on. It had been so long since I heard 'The Sign' and 'Voulez Vous Dancer' so they got cranked up loud as to drown out my own screechy 'vocals' as I could not help but 'sing' along. Those two got uploaded to the ipod quicker than quick. Blimey the state some sellers send their cases out in.I wiped them with a wet cloth and it turned brown.Ewww.Then I Ciffed them (as in,squirted them with 'Cif').And then I replace the cases with shiny blank new ones 'cause i'm weird like that.lol.

Ugh! I hate that with eBay purchases. I bought a Meja Japanese release once and it was in a SHOCKING state. I'd rather they didn't the case at all sometimes, as I end up replacing half of them when I get them anyway. The most petty annoyance is when they send them with loads of broken "teeth" or whatever they are called, that hold the CD in. Have you tracked down Da Capo yet?

I KNOW ! Also,I've had it with say if I bought a Kylie cd and it comes in a broken manky stained case with a sticker on that reads ''includes the hits Take On Me,Sun Always Shines On Tv'' and so you just know that they switched the cases before they sent it out,so they get the newer one and I get the manky one.At least they could remove the sticker so it's not so obvious that they switched cases.Aaarggh.I bought a Geri cd and the booklet was held together with lots of sellotape and there was a page missing and the sellers name and address was written on the pages It was only a euro, but even so,if I was a seller ,I wouldn't have the nerve to even try selling it like that ! Also,I hate it when I give fabulous feedback and get NONE in return ! That's happened like 20 times. Uhmm I haven't even tried.Yet.

*ACE OF BASE UPDATE* Apparently we are to expect a new album and a remix album in 2008. Though Linn has left the band I'm sure Acerben could enlighten us more, as it was from his AoB site I followed the news links. Well, I'm excited about it anyway.

Linn was the blonde one. Not entirely surprised, as she never really played much of a part after the stalker incident. Eeep *Ace Of Base loon*

The most petty annoyance is when they send them with loads of broken "teeth" or whatever they are called, that hold the CD in. I've had one or two brand new ones from Play and HMV.com with broken teeth recently. I just replace the bottom part of the cases. Can't be bothered asking them for another case as they're only 10 for £1 in Asda.

Well theres information stored incorrectly in my brain for the last 10 years. In that case, I make myself a rubbish AoB loon.

Received my Singles Of The 90's CD from Play.com last week and absolutely love it, had it on repeat yesterday! Never knew they did a version of Aswad's Don't Turn Around. A great very strong hits collection with every track a winner. Superb. Lost interest in music a bit in the early 90's so they sort of erm, passed me by. This thread actually made me buy this album so thanks.!

I (wrongly) thought that 'Waiting For Magic' was a Uk single. It SHOULDA been ! The lyrics are a bit mad,but the music is so catchy. It's one of those tracks that made me wanna jig about a bit (back then). Now that I'm older,it just makes me wanna drum my fingers on the table, and nod my head. It's far better than 'Happy Nation' which is the only Uk single of theirs that I'd skip.

Yes, Happy Nation is far from my favourite of Ace of Base songs. I don't recall Waiting For Magic being released in the UK, but then.... Anyway, if Ace of Base rumours are correct, this is *possibly* their first single this year from their *possible remix album*. It's the live version, but full of Euro goodness for me.
