You dont like Kylie, why? Mariah, I'll agree with Welcome along, I like what I've seen at cc of you. Sounds like the fave 5 and haven record of the week needs your votes and support. How do the Gorillaz keep doing such great tunes? Do you like sport? Do you play celebdaq? Fave alcoholic beverage?

I just don't really rate Kylie's voice, I think there are a lot better singers who could do the songs she does a lot better. There are a lot of her songs which would have been great if sung by someone who can sing.

Celebdaq : I do, though I don't aways check it very often, so I don't usually do that well. I can't undertand how some people get +1500% or something in a week. Alcohol : Most things! Though probably Old Speckled Hen if I had to choose one Thanks for the welcome, I will visit the Fave 5 voting etc. ;D

Who'd you go with? And where's the Bassin D'Archachon?
My mum has a flat in La Rochelle- sometimes I think she's more French than English ;D

My mum has a flat in La Rochelle- sometimes I think she's more French than English ;D The Bassin D'Archachon is just south of Bordeaux. beautiful place. We were right next to a massive sand dune, literally just this mountain of sand miles long poking out from a forest. Very strange, but the view from the top was great. La Rochelle is on the same Atlantic coast isn't it? Do you visit it often?

Wow that sounds lovely! Who were you with though? La Rochelle is pretty much halfway down the Atlantic coast, where the Ile de Re and the Ile d'Oleron are. It's very pretty, my mum's flat is 5 minutes away from the beach and she is a member of a sailing club in a nearby town. I haven't been to see the flat yet, as she only bought it earlier on this year, but hopefully I will get there soon. She also owns a share in a house a bit further inland, in Charente Maritime but she wants to sell it now she's got her own place. Since Charente Maritime got trendy, the property has gone up in value so she should get good money from her partners, who offered to buy her out when she was working up the courage to ask them to buy her out!!

That's good luck for your mum! Where aouts is Charenete Maritime? That's not the Poitiers area is it (complete guess)? You need to go there next summer (I doubt there'd be much point when it's colder). I was just with a few friends, nothing naughty if that's what you want to hear

It is near Poitiers! My mum dragged me off to Futuroscope when I was a child and I really didn't enjoy it, because there were no rides ;D Now I would probably love it, it would bring out my inner geek! Have you got a boyfriend, or am I confusing you with Declan off CC?

Have you got a boyfriend, or am I confusing you with Declan off CC? Bingo, I got it right What do you mean, INNER geek? I thought it was always pretty obvious I think you are confusing me with him (though I don't know which one Declan is), but I'm still single, but not really bothered by it all anymore. How's your love life going?

Being a geek is cool these days Tis good that you're not bothered about being single, I think it's good for people to take some time to get to know themselves. One of my friends has just come out of a 4 1/2 year relationship after being with another man for 2 years and has never really had the time to know what she wants, she has always moulded herself to her man which I think is very dangerous. Things are going very well for me, still with my boyfriend and it gets better and better. He's a total star, very thoughtful- he got his dad to record Lost for me last night ;D His family like me too- his mother brought me pack a pair of earrings as a present from her holiday in Bournemouth! I could go on for hours, but I don't want to bore you

It's not so much that I want time to find myself, I just think I'm too selfish at the moment to devote haf my time to someone else. Though of course if I do meet someone I won't say no, I'm just not actively looking for it. And geek has ALWAYS been cool.
