Do you have any phobias?I used to have a real hatred of moths. Spiders I can handle, no problem, but moths are the epitome of evil. I'm not so bothered by them now, but I still wouldn't want to touch one. I guess my main fear is that one day I will be alone with no family.

Did you used to put salt on big black slugs as a boy and watch them go to mush? I did.

Did you used to put salt on big black slugs as a boy and watch them go to mush?I'm afraid to say that when I was abot 7 or 8 I used to do just that to slugs a snails with a friend of mine. Now I wouldn't dream of doing it as I think it's a cruel way of killing a lovely animal.

I'd hardly call a slimy ugly slug a "lovely animal".

Well that's your loss then. I keep snails as pets, and I think they are beautiful creatures. They bring my much delight and peacefulness.
;D

' La Toya ' is such a gorgeous name ! It always strikes me as odd that she was given such an unusual beautiful name, whereas her sisters are the more ordinary 'Janet' and 'Maureen' (not that there's anything too wrong with those names ,but you'd imagine the girls would have three unusual names or three popular names). Q ~ Would you be disappointed if it turned out that La Toya changed her name by deed poll, and that her family still call her by her true birth name of ...Ethel ?

I have to handle them when I clean out their tank. I also like to give their shells a wash as they can get a bit mucky.
