Personal fave is "God Put A Smile Upon Your Face" - has the most obvious U2 moment too!!! What's the 'obvious' U2 moment in it then?

Usually when i listen to mellow kind of musik it lossens me up and helps me talk to people (i.e. girls) It kinda has the same effect on me.

I just simply can't see any similarity.

What's the 'obvious' U2 moment in it then? It's the "woo-ing" half way through... it really is very 80s U2.

Have listened to this again today on the way back from work... thought I'd give it a fair hearing again. Still think it's nowhere near as good as it ought to be but admits it's not as U2ish as I remembered!!! ;D

I doubt I've given 'Parachutes' the attention it deserves so far.

I doubt I've given 'Parachutes' the attention it deserves so far. Now Parachutes (IMO) is a good album, it just connects with me on a level which the follow up never can due to the mass of production on it. Parachutes just has that cool timeless feeling about it too.
