Crikey - you're as bad as me for music buying! I couldn't include my various artists albums as they're all in a cupboard along with the ones I was too embarrased to include!!! You read that list of mine and I'm sure that I more than match you for embarassing material. I'm a music junkie, I always have been. You know since making that list I can name a few albums that people have stolen from me. I'm missing my Pink Floyd - Dark Side of the Moon, Inspiral Carpets - Life, Jon Spencer Blues Explosion (self titled), Simple Minds - Live in the City of Lights, Wedding Present - George Best and a few more I'm sure I'll think of in time. I blame my brother, I used to live with him when I was 22 and I bet he's got all of those. I won't complain too much or else he might ask for his Playstation back

Why thank you. So which one is your second favourite? Snow Patrol can do no wrong in my mind, that man has such a gorgeous voice, he can sing to me all day. But seriously it's a bit more like a first album, the songs aren't recorded so well, more lo-fi. I love the one called On/Off. well "kid a" is a must get... so are "ok computer" and "hail to the thief" really...

personally i'd go for okc and then either kid a or httt, depending on whether you think you'd like more experimental stuff or more okc-ish stuff... but if you want:
ok computer - so many classics - "paranoid android", "karma police", "no surprises", "climbing up the walls"...
kid a - love almost the whole album, though it's less easy to get into; highlights include "everything in its right place", "how to disappear completely" and the AWESOME "idioteque"
hail to the thief - another great album, should be fairly easy to get into - "myxomatosis", "2+2=5", "sit down, stand up" (one of my favourite radiohead songs EVER), and of course "a wolf at the door"... "there there" is also pretty good

Anna great list!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Amazed someone else likes ALL ABOUT EVE!! They were my favourite band EVER!!!!! I got the same albums of theirs as you, plus two amazing live albums they released a few years ago called Fairy light nights 1 & 2... you should get them, they're amazing, with incredible live semi-acoustic versions of Scarlet, Are you lonely, wild hearted woman, shelter from the rain, martha's harbour...
I agree, you must get OK Computer, one of the best albums ever...
I also noticed you got Tori Amos first two albums. What happened there? She's had her ups and downs but all her albums are worth buying except Strange Little Girls. Especially her 3rd (Boys for Pele) and 4th (From the choirgirl hotel) and her latest (Scarlet's walk).
Funny I also got the first 3 Oasis albums and then stopped buying...
good list!!!

As for buying albums, I have a huge gap in my collection all round when I bought my house and ended up boozing more than buying music. There just are too many albums that I want to buy and not enough time to fit them all in. This year was a great year for good albums. I still like Tori Amos and Oasis but I haven't heard All About Eve for years, I might have to play one now just for old times sake. ;D

My ideal getting jiggy music has got to be , a night of dancing to 80's music perfect for getting in the mood.

Nice collection there. But no Neil Young or Kris Kristofferson? I have Neil Young (under Neil, I know it's crap but it's the way I typed it out) and Crosby Stills Nash and Young too ;D I've got Convoy on video, in fact I have it in my hand right now
