There are several REALLY good dance albums, the following spring to mind:
Leftfield "Leftism" Massive Attack "Blue Lines" or "Mezzanine" (if you count them as dance?) Paul Van Dyk "Out There And Back" Sasha "AirDrawnDagger" Chemical Brothers "Exit Planet Dust", "Dig Your Own Hole" and "Surrender" Prodigy "Music For The Jilted Generation" Daft Punk "Homework"

I think Leftfield's album is probably the best dance album ever created - I still LOVE listening to it now.

I agree with you, this album is a masterpiece with different styles and inspirations around African references ! "Open Up" with JOHN LYDON (ex-PIL and SEX PISTOLS), "Original" with TONI HALLIDAY from CURVE, great voices for great album !

Oh yeah how could we miss Daft Punk's Discovery! What about Moby's Play?

Oh, I rather like Moby's "Play" actually - although I do feel it tails off somewhat.
Others that have come to mind since last time are:
BT "Movement In Still Life" DJ Shadow "Endtroducing" & "The Private Press" Royksopp "Melody AM" Orbital "Orbital (The Brown Album)" St Germain "Tourist" Lemon Jelly "Lost Horizons"
and last, but most definitely not least, the wonderful
Herbert "Bodily Functions"
