Ok, this is the prediction game, similar to the one I ran 2 years ago for Euro 2004.
The rules are as follows:
1. You predict the score for each game. The fixtures that you should predict for are displayed, and you should predict by responding to this topic.
2. The game is run on more than one internet site. All the predictions count for one game.
3. The result is the score after normal time. During the knockout phase, extra time and penalties don't count.
4. All the points are added up and divided by the number of correct predictors. If there are no correct predictions for a game, then the points go into a "pot" and there is a rollover to the next game. At the times where there are 2 games, one of the games will arbitrarily be designated as the "first" game with regards to any rollovers.
5. You don't have to predict for every game, but if you don't predict you have no chance of winning for that game. You don't lose any points for wrong predictions (change to Euro 2004 when you did).
6. You have up to kick-off time to predict. The kick-off times will be given in Central European Time, as the games are in Germany. 8pm in Germany is 7pm in London, 2pm in New York.
-------------
The next games to predict are as follows: Remember that times are in Central European Time:
41 (Group E): Czech Republic vs Italy, Thursday 22 June, 16:00 42 (Group E): Ghana vs USA, Thursday 22 June, 16:00 43 (Group F): Brazil vs Japan, Thursday 22 June, 21:00 44 (Group F): Croatia vs Australia, Thursday 22 June, 21:00 45 (Group H): Saudi Arabia vs spain, Friday 23 June, 16:00 46 (Group H): Ukraine vs Tunisia, Friday 23 June, 16:00 47 (Group G): Togo vs France, Friday 23 June, 21:00 48 (Group G): Switzerland vs South Korea, Friday 23 June, 21:00 49 (Last 16): Germany vs Sweden, Saturday 24 June, 17:00 50 (Last 16): Argentina vs Mexico, Saturday 24 June, 21:00 51 (Last 16): England vs Ecuador, Sunday 25 June, 17:00 52 (Last 16): Portugal vs Netherlands, Sunday 25 June, 21:00

Thank you. My predictions are on the board at Chart Forum Refugees. As someone else there is also doing a prediction game by scores I have asked if I can use the predictions there for my game too. It means players can make one set of predictions there and join in both games, and will also ensure we get more players.

ah, good, have some players now. New players can still join but you can no longer predict the first game (or any others that have started by the time you read this).
Nothing much lost - if you don't predict one game it's just like you guessed wrong, and as players are likely to guess wrong most of the time there will still be options to win.
The big wins of course come on rollovers and single-winner predictors.

And actually there are 64 games in total with the 3rd place playoff.

Looks like 2 rollovers then, unless elsewhere have predicted correctly?
