Why would it be rigged? Oh just in the sense of, you can have this frame, I'll have the next, etc, etc...It's not too hard to miss a few shots is it...:hide:

But they would gain nothing out of it whatsoever by deliberately making it a one-frame decider. The winner of the tournament receives £250,000. Stephen Maguire's prize money for the tournament is £12,000.

Can you place bets on a 1st round qualifier with ronnie o sullivan going to the 20th frame? You could've placed a bet on either player winning 10-9... As I've mentioned before though, Maguire is no ordinary first round qualifier. He's the UK champion and provisional world #3. He only had to qualify because he was outside the top 16 at the start of the season. I wouldn't be surprised to see O'Sullivan and Maguire meet in the semi-finals next year.

Can you place bets on a 1st round qualifier with ronnie o sullivan going to the 20th frame? Yes you probably can. It's not surprising though - Stephen Maguire, although only a qualifier, has already beaten him at least twice this season and will feature highly among the rankings for this season's performances. He certainly won't have to qualify next year.

Also, Maguire had already beaten O'Sullivan twice this season.
