Who should be President of the World? ME. But since I have better things to do with my time, Greta Thunberg.

Do you swear like a dockyard worker - or do you replace words which should’ve been a swear word in common every day sweary phrases? E.g. Get the frog out or I’m flipping furious.

In a game of Trivial Pursuit, what is your weakest subject? After managing not to remember to reply to this post for almost a month, I have a very underwhelming answer: I don't know if I've ever played Trivial Pursuit Having looked up what the subjects are, probably Sports & Leisure if it's literally anything other than football, or possibly Entertainment if it's more TV-based. All the others I could probably have a good stab at on account of just being a nerd.

How many inoculations do you have to get for a trip to Sri Lanka?
That's something that's always put me off going to many long-haul destinations.

As with many countries, Sri Lanka won't admit you if you can't prove you've been jabbed for Covid, so I'll be taking my certificate. Other than that, I'm not aware of any specific vaccine requirements. I've been many times before and have never needed special jabs. (The best advice for avoiding getting sick in Sri Lanka though is to take insect repellent and do what you can to avoid being bitten - neither mosquito nor dengue fever are especially pleasant to experience and both are insect-borne.)

I've noticed more and more photo albums in charity shops. And photo frames too. I guess nowadays folks like keeping their pics on smartphones and on Facebook or Instagram. Do you keep good old fashioned photo albums ? Do they live on shelves alongside all your books? Come to think of it, books seem to be dying out too - the charity shops 'round here won't take 'em as they've got too many they're trying to get rid of as it is.

Out of you and your boyf, who can keep a hula hoop spinning around the waist for longest?

I have noticed you did not answer my swearing question so have drawn my own conclusions that you are a complete potty mouth.
What item have you bought for the house and then never used?

Have you bought something or received a gift that you broke in a very short time?

I'd completely forgotten about this thread I've noticed more and more photo albums in charity shops. I do not have photo albums; however, my mum does and I expect I'll inherit them one day. I do value photos I take, but increasingly they are of places and things rather than people, so I don't tend to see the point in printing them.

Out of you and your boyf, who can keep a hula hoop spinning around the waist for longest? We don't have one to try! Probably me, but it would be measured in seconds as neither of us have any coordination

I have noticed you did not answer my swearing question so have drawn my own conclusions that you are a complete potty mouth. Sorry! If it's any consolation I am a champion swearer but I do manage to keep a lid on it at work, fortunately. Though I've increasingly been noticing others don't... Lots, but the one that comes to mind is a very lovely terracotta dish I got in Sri Lanka. It was meant to be a bird bath, and still will be, but I need to get around to waterproofing it properly or it will crack with the first frost in the winter

Have you bought something or received a gift that you broke in a very short time? Does the car count? Took me less than a month to do my wing mirror... The one I feel worst about is a necklace given to me by a close friend after her wedding, as a thank you for being her bridesmaid. The first time I wore it, I was about 10 minutes walking down the road before I realised it had come undone and I'd lost it to this day I'm too mortified to tell her...
