Growing Up In The Jackson FamilyDoes anyone have it? I hear it's a fascinating read and it turns out Latoya was spot-on about Michael's child abuse, the abuse from their father and Janet's fake marriage. I've ordered it from Amazon. With any luck it will be here on Monday. ;D

Wow, their dad was really sick. He would force the brothers to physically fight each other and some nights he would bang on the window wearing a horror mask to scare them. I think Michael and Latoya were really affected badly.

Ah her memoirs! Toy is indeed a rebel and a survivor! Her book is the reason why I got into her in the first place.. I got a copy at a used book shop back in the summer of '98.. I do believe a lot of it is true, but as it goes on, there was probably some stuff regarding her family and Jack Gordon etc.. that probably wasn't true, but that LaToya probably believed to be true at the time.. I would LOVE for LaToya to write another book, I bet it would be even more of a roler-coaster than her previous book.. The real story about why she left Jack hasn't really been put out there.. If you guys like this book, you'll probably like another Jackson exposé: Jackson Family Values by Margaret Maldonado Jackson (Jermaine's second wife).. Dishy, bitter and angry.. the makings of a fabulous exposé!

I never had the chance to read LaToya's book but I would love to. I've read Margaret Maldonado's book and wasn't thrilled by it, mainly it's just dissing her ex-husband. Don't waste your money, it can be read online at Jetzi's site jetzi.cjb.net if I remember the address well.

I've read Margaret Maldonado's book and wasn't thrilled by it, mainly it's just dissing her ex-husband. I know.. it's fierce! Don't forget, she also spends a lot of time dissing Lea Bongo too LOL.. For some reason, I don't think she'd be lying, simply because she was very honest about her reasons for writing it at the end of the book. Hell, I'd be p*ssed too if my scumbag husband was caught up in a strange love triangle, living beyond his means, while dodging child support. Anyways that site is awesome!! It's a little on the freaky side, but nevertheless.. you can read, not only Ms. Maldonado-Jackson's book, but our Toy's book (if you just CAN'T wait for the real thing) and Mama Jackson's book: "My Family, The Jacksons". Now that book was a complete, utter whitewash. It's nice to hear her point of view and some of her little stories, but it's all so superficial. There's got to be more depth to their story than that.. The saving grace is the prologue - called "LaToya" - an attempt to put another side to LaToya's then controversial, rebellious behaviour.. here's the link: jetzis-mjvideo.com/books/kj/kjpro.htmlhere's chapter 15 where she talks about LaToya, Janet and Rebbie's beginnings in the industry, mostly about LaToya's first album and Janet.. Apparently the sisters were supposed to form their own group! jetzis-mjvideo.com/books/kj/kj15.html

JANET: After my brothers started getting married and moving out, Michael and I became very close. Even as a teen-ager he was crazy about younger children. We did everything together, everything under the sun.

What's funny is when Michael spoke about his dads beating with belts on the Martin Bashir docu a few years ago, everyone was shocked, even though LaToya had revealed this years ago! Teach people to assume she's a liar!

It's obvious why LaToya left with Jack Gordon, as soon as they found out that Janet was more successful they just ditched LaToya. They mention Toy's first two albums and then it's all about Janet and Michael.

that's why I don't like Mrs. Jackson's book, it's all about Michael and Janet and it's full of stories we all heard before... I wanted to know more about the "forgotten" brothers and sisters of the family and I thought their mother would write about all of them, since a mother is supposed to love all of her children equally, let they be successful or not...

Wow, Rebbie's a b****! Has Latoya or any of the Jackson's spoke about their relationship today? I know she's been pictured with both Janet and Michael in the last few years, but I've seen little text.

Well, considering that Toy has defended Wacko recently indicates that they've must've reconciled.

Toy has said that they are all friends again, it was 15 years ago when she did the first Playboy and 11 since LaToya's press conference. Time heals.
Anyway who thinks MJ is guilty? I'm not sure. I do think he should leave kids alone for his own sake, if not theirs.

Michael's innocent, for sure. And don't call him 'Wacko'.

I can't decide. Part of me thinks he *does* sleep with boys but doesn't actually do anything sexual. I think he's trying to relieve his missing childhood. I just can't really imagine him harming children. If he really was sexually abusing them I don't think he'd even have mentioned his love for kids on his TV show, he would've kept it totally quiet. Who knows.
