RESULTS: OCTOBER 31st 1. Frag 363 2. Robin 352 3. Tom 341 4. Andy 330 5. Earl Purple 319 6. misterhamster 308 7. Maximo Mark 220 8. paddy 187
It was a very close week, with the top six separated by only 55 points, but Frag comes out on top for the second week in a row! There were quite a few unanimous predictions this week, with the top six either all correct or all wrong on eight of the ten fixtures, so the priorities really made a difference this week.

Frag overtakes MrH at the death to pick up the monthly honours for the third time running! (I'm not fixing this, honest...)
This week's stats Average score: 302.5 Easiest to predict: Man United 2-0 Blackburn: 780 pts (8/8 correct) Hardest to predict: Middlesbrough 0-1 Plymouth: -52 pts (0/8 correct)

Hmmm bit concerned how far off the pace of the leaders I am in the yearly table! Need to get a few weekly wins under my belt!

Interesting. I actually upgraded my Boro prediction by 1 at the last minute. Had i not done it looks as though i would have been joint 2nd with Robin!

tough, and I think Tottenham will blow it again - not totally but will only come away with 1 point.

It's a hat-trick for Frag, winning for the third week in a row! Andy pushed him very close, only 11 points behind in the end. The only game where we differed was Sheff Wed v QPR, a draw in that one and Andy would have won.

This week, we have an International Special! The third and possibly last one of the season, and it features the four World Cup qualifying play-off matches from Europe, plus England's friendly with Brazil (which is at a neutral venue). Predictions in by 3pm on Saturday, please (but if you are late, you can still predict on those which haven't kicked off yet).
Saturday, 14 November 2009 INTERNATIONAL SPECIAL Brazil v England (17:00) Greece v Ukraine (18:00) Portugal v Bosnia-Hercegovina (20:30) Rep of Ireland v France (20:00) Russia v Slovenia (16:00) Bristol Rovers v Carlisle Norwich v Tranmere Yeovil v Southend Accrington Stanley v Dag & Red Shrewsbury v Torquay
(edit: amended kick-off times for play-off matches)

Because the BBC only list the European (or Qatarian) ones, and a lot of the others might kick off at inconvenient times - either before 3pm, or too late. I'm in Wimbledon on Sunday to play frisbee (not tennis), so want to have the option of doing the results on Saturday evening instead of Sunday. Also, it was a good opportunity to give the lower-league teams a turn - I'm planning to feature all 48 of them at some point this season.
