There's some awful rubbish there. Can I give negative scores? No you may not. But 0 is ok?

Swing The Mood and That's What I Like were well-made medleys.
Let's Party was just 3 songs joined together by March of the Mods in the middle and didn't fit well together at all. That's why I gave it 0 and gave the others decent scores.

2: Bangles - Eternal Flame
This "slow burning" hit made four weeks at the top in 1989, and scored another couple of weeks in the 00's thanks to Atomic Kitten.
On your Haven 1989 rate it scored a 7.92.

1: Blackbox - Ride On Time
So Havens choice of #1 of 1989 was also the biggest selling single of the year with Blackbox "Ride On Time". A total of six weeks at the top for Blackbox's first Top 40 UK chart entrant.
Haven gave this a winners average of 8.50 pts..

Apart from Soul II Soul I agree with the choices at the top.
Thanks for compiling, Smurfie - I enjoyed the links to listen to the top 3.

Yes, poor Sonia. I actually thought Like A Prayer would be Top 3. Blackbox, Madonna, Soul II Soul - would have been my predictions....
