I don't know why they've moved the last day of the Championship to Saturday, it was Sunday for years. Hopefully will get moved back to Sunday for next year when I can also hopefully celebrate Charlton achieving back-to-back promotions joining the ranks of Norwich and Southampton (who were also relegated in 2009)

I have the latest Panini euro 2012 sticker book, and it has the fixtures in, so will start a new thread and post them up. We will play in three batches of 8 games, so weighting 1-8.

I dont know about the Olympics, but yes, assume the Euros are 4 groups of 4, but you only play three games, and we're predicting on the 1st round of games from each group, then the 2nd round of games, and finally the 3rd round, then the quarters, semis and 3rd/4th/final. Like I say I'll start a sep. thread tonight if I remember and post the games up.

Hopefully will get moved back to Sunday for next year when I can also hopefully celebrate Charlton achieving back-to-back promotions joining the ranks of Norwich and Southampton (who were also relegated in 2009) Last year I think it was because the BBC had the F1 on the Sunday and didn't want it clashing. This year there isn't a grand prix on the same weekend, so i've got absolutely no idea either why the games are being played tomorrow.

Saturday is traditional football day, don't see the need to play games on the Sunday. Specially not all of them.

Sunday is the traditional day for the last day of the season though...in the top 2 divisions anyway. In the past when its been on a Sunday the Championship final day has also coincided with the Bank holiday weekend, so its felt more like a Saturday.

The last fixtures have been played on a Saturday far more than they have on a Sunday. I was only going back over the last 17 years, the length of time i've been a football fan, but I can't remember too many, if any, Sat PL or Championship games on the final day of the season before last year. Thats presumably why it caused so much fuss when the Championship games were played Sat last year.
