Just back in time for the 3pm games, but not in time for the early KOs, would have got Villa-Wolves right too...
Saturday, 27 August 2011
Aston Villa v Wolverhampton, 12:05 A7 Blackburn v Everton, 15:00 A6 Swansea v Sunderland, 15:00 H8 Liverpool v Bolton, 15.00
Wigan v QPR, 12:30 A2 Doncaster v Bristol City, 15:00 D1 Hull v Reading, 15:00 - Always dangerous to expect too much from Reading, hence the cautious prediction, but we have won on the day i'm back in the country for each of the last 3 years... A4 Ipswich v Leeds, 15:00 A5 Leicester v Southampton, 15:00 D3 Portsmouth v Cardiff, 15:00

The Results!D Aston Villa v Wolverhampton A Blackburn v Everton D Swansea v Sunderland H Liverpool v Bolton H Wigan v QPR D Doncaster v Bristol City H Hull v Reading H Ipswich v Leeds H Leicester v Southampton D Portsmouth v Cardiff Robin was the winner this week, as he was the only person with a score over 400, a brilliant achievement, the spectrum of scores from 407 down to 22 shows it was a hard week to predict, and we all thought differently about some games. *Leaderboard*1 Robin 4072 raliverpool 341 3 Daz 330 4 Maximo Mark 308 5 Andy 286 6 Wonderwall 253 6 Smokeyb 253 8 Sam 242 9 Suedehead 209 10 Tom 162 11 Paddy 121 12 Earl Purple 55 13 Misterhamster 22 So as it was the final game week of the month, was Paddy able to hold onto his lead? He didn't, and last year's champion raliverpool rose to the #1 spot, however he had to share the #1 with Robin who snuck up from 5th to the top! Well done both! Special mention to Daz who missed the 1st gameweek, and yet has finished 7th and only 187 points from the top of the table, one to watch perhaps Monthly Leaderboard 4/41 (2) raliverpool 958 1 (5) Robin 9583 (3) Andy 892 4 (5) Wonderwall 806 5 (1) Paddy 793 6 (7) Smokeyb 782 7 (11) Daz 771 8 (9) Suedehead 694 9 (8) Tom 658 10 (14) Maximo Mark 628 11 (13) Sam 584 12 (4) Elmer 562 13 (9) Misterhamster 507 14 (12) Earl Purple 474 Next week's predictions, Internationals are back, so I've chosen games from Div 1 and Div 2 rather than some international games. There is a 12.15 ko, so dont get caught out Saturday, 3 September 2011Carlisle v MK Dons, 15:00 Chesterfield v Leyton Orient, 15:00 Hartlepool v Exeter, 15.00 Oldham v Huddersfield, 15:00 Stevenage v Rochdale, 15:00 Swindon v Rotherham, 12.15 AFC Wimbledon v Port Vale, 15:00 Burton Albion v Plymouth, 15:00 Crewe v Oxford Utd, 15:00 Morecambe v Bradford, 15:00

Oh well thank you to Liverpool, I was clearly right to have more confidence in that prediction than any of my others..

I'd much rather do div 1 and div 2, but if people prefer internationals I can do them next time, so 1 vote for internationals and 1 vote for div 1/2. What does everyone prefer?

Saturday, 3 September 2011A10 Carlisle v MK Dons, 15:00 H9 Chesterfield v Leyton Orient, 15:00 H8 Hartlepool v Exeter, 15.00 A6 Oldham v Huddersfield, 15:00 H2 Stevenage v Rochdale, 15:00 A3 Swindon v Rotherham, 12.15 H7 AFC Wimbledon v Port Vale, 15:00 D1 Burton Albion v Plymouth, 15:00 H4 Crewe v Oxford Utd, 15:00 A5 Morecambe v Bradford, 15:00 And on the debate, I don't mind, league 1 and 2 are difficult because everyone can beat everyone on their day. Internationals usually end up being euro countries. So to get all the teams in the top 4 tiers in the league 1 and 2 teams need including on these weekends, I'd like to see BSP (and maybe BSN and BSS) included in the predictions too.
