I dont agree that Denise has been shoe horned into the final, she's a good dancer! They changed it to a 4 couple final only a couple of weeks ago. They must already have been aware she was getting next to no votes. It's usually 5 to 3 with no dance-off.

I think Denise and Kimberly should be the final two, they're the better dancers. It's just a shame Denise isn't popular with the public.

I just hope Denise comes 4th. It's ridiculous how they've shoe horned her into the final. and she has a veritable tsunami of sob story publicity in the past few weeks to try to prop her up:"Chris Evans ruined my chances! Johnny Vaughn is jealous of me and hates me! I got a heel caught in the dress! I fell over in rehearsal! I have a bad gag reflex! Misogynistic haters ruined my career! I broke a nail!" I want Louis to win cos I've got money on him winning but Dani would be a deserving winner. The one from the miming girl group shouldn't win either but the pro she is with is very talented and that cartwheel thing was very impressive. Until they just stopped afterwards. I have a feeling they were going to have her and Denise in the final all along.

She had to avoid the bottom 2 - they would have saved any of the other 4 over her sadly Would rather had lost Louis or Denise ^This. I knew Lisa was gone as soon as she finished bottom with the judges - and I think she knew it too. She was popular, but it was always going to be tough to avoid the bottom 2 at that point. I did think it might be Dani in the dance-off with her though, i'm glad it wasn't. We're seeing Denise's true popularity now - it's been hidden all this time because she's been at or near the top of the leaderboard each week. The judges make out that it's so tight anyone can win, but that isn't really the case. I won't reveal who the person is in case it spoils it for anyone, but someone has been topping the phone votes for weeks, possibly since the very start. So unless they are bottom on the leaderboard tomorrow (though this has no bearing in the final) i'd probably be surprised if they didn't win. My preferred order would be 1 Dani, 2 Kimberley, 3 Louis (possibly 2nd as his showdance may have the "wow" factor), 4 Denise (was very impressed the week she was in the dance-off the first time, the week before last - both performances, but other than that i've not really cared).

I did wonder when they changed it, as the tv listings both for last week and this week have said it's a 3 couple final! Tbf though, like i said earlier in the thread there often seems to be someone that pulls out during the series, Kelly Brook(? - remember Brendan being absolutely gutted), John Sergeant, Jade Johnson off the top of my head, and i've only been watching it properly since 2006/7 so there maybe others before that! So it's been taken out of their hands.

I assume you're saying Louis has been top all the way through, well if it's ladies voting, that explains it

Just because Louis has (apparently) been leading all the way through doesn't mean he will continue to do so Christopher won the first 7 weeks of the public vote in the X Factor and ended up in 3rd place

So it's been taken out of their hands. Jimmy Tarbuck was the other who withdrew for health reasons. As for the four person final, to me it seems a convenient excuse to allow the four real quality performers of the series to be in the final, which certainly could not be said for its ITV rival this year. I'm in the Denise should not have been allowed to enter so I hope she finishes fourth camp as in the past both Howard Donald & Melanie C have revealed they have been barred from entering the contest due to having a perceived unfair advantage of a dancing background; Whilst only Nicole Scherzinger from the Pussycat Dolls was allowed to enter the US equivalent Dancing With The Stars as she was regarded as a singing "hoofer" compared to the rest of the group. Personally I hope either Kimberly or Dani wins, but I expect the females will vote for Louis victory.

I assume you're saying Louis has been top all the way through, well if it's ladies voting, that explains it Yes And to MK, while nothing officially has been said about Louis being top of the public vote, given the reception he gets from the studio audience and the way he gets saved from the bottom 2 on the leaderboard it makes sense to me. The Olympians were always going to be particularly popular on the series this year. True, it doesn't mean he will definitely win, hence why i said favourite (having initially thought before posting he may be a shoe-in to win). But in the past the showdances have won people the title, well they did for Tom Chambers and Chris Hollins in the past imo, and I can see Louis' having the same impact with the public.

Just voted for Kimberley, out of the three finalists, I think Kimberley deserves it.

What a farce. Not only did they shoehorn Denise into the final but they also gave her 'joint 2nd' when in all likelihood she was 3rd.
I don't think i'll bother next series it's all going to the dogs.

Well that was a completely enjoyable positive experience with some wonderful dancing where only Dani underperformed on the night. A world away from the the nasty manipulative negativity of the eXcrement Factor. I somehow doubt you'll see Louis Smith go on Twitter and do a nasty homophobic rant at a former winner whilst also getting a dig in at the runner up of his series.

Hahahahahaha, are you and Me twins. What does it matter if she was 2nd or 3rd, she didn't win, but she also wasn't voted out in 4th, or was that fixed as well? I thought Kimberley was the best dancer on the night, but always thought Louis would win it with the female votes.

It was odd they didn't announce who was 2nd and 3rd, they usually do, it would be interesting to see a breakdown of the votes to see if Louis won by a large margin or not. When it got down to the final 3 would have preferred Kimberley to win, but didn't mind Louis winning.

I have a feeling Craig gave Louis a 9 on his last dance to keep from pushing Kimberly into 3rd on the scoreboard, which she quite clearly wouldn't have deserved based on overall performance on the night. Saying that, all three of them did bloody well to lose only one or two points each out of three dances!
I find it funny that the winners average score of the whole series is still only 3rd, trailing behind Denise and Kimberly.

Well I guess what the public like and what the judges like is different, but not by much.
