I could have gone with a draw in order to match Daz's prediction but I'd rather win fairly or not at all!

Yeah its first or nothing for me. I predicted wigan to draw with arse to put me in the position for the win. So no point everyone going for an arsenal win and I thought robin would most likely go for an arsenal win so i thought I would make it a bit intetesting.
Trouble with arsenal is they could walk it 4-0 or really struggle. I really dont know

As I'm out of the running after my gamble in the Semi Finals, I'll play it straight:
H10 Arsenal v Hull (Scoreline 2:0)

After 9 years they finally got there, it was a deserve win for them. I have to say they did have more chances in the second half Gibbs just missed when he had the net in front of him, how could he miss from there. And I'm sure they could have had a penalty, but that's open to further discussion, could have been 4-2 to Arsenal without the extra time, but in the end it doesn't matter they got their silverware.
Its remarkable for Arsene Wenger to take that 8th FA Cup win for the club out of 11, 8th under Arsene Wenger, best club manager they ever had, let's hope he stays.

You're as bad as the commentators (on BT at least and I assume ITV were as bad). Hull have waited 110 years without wining a trophy but somehow that is less significant than Arsenal's mere nine year wait.

I was watching the truly brilliant, dramatic and gripping Spanish La Liga title decider between Barca & Atletico. After the Madrid sides star striker Diego Costa went off injured for Atletico early on, Barcelona capitalised as Alexis Sanchez smashed in a superb opener. But a dramatic beginning to the second half saw the equalizer or Godin goal (as it will be known) see Diego Simeone's side win their first La Liga title in 18 years despite Messi and co kitchen sink onslaught in the final half an hour. This is only the 5th time in 30 years that Real Madrid or Barcelona have not won La Liga. PS. Well done Daz, and thanks for hosting/compiling Andy.

I was really annoyed that the La Liga climax coincided with the Cup Final. I had to content myself with keeping an eye on the score form Camp Nou while watching the Cup Final. At least it's good to see someone other than Real or Barça win it. Can they make it a double next weekend?

I really enjoyed the St Johnstone v Dundee United cup final, I know it's not on topic, but it was a cracking game, two teams going all out for it! Really harsh on Dundee United as well!
