I'm still saddened by Nicole not being back this year, despite loving Cheryl and Mel B as judges.

Has Mel B any solo material coming up then or could it be a spice girls reunion.

Oh. This is interesting!
It has been reported that the live shows will feature a fifth judge mentoring a "wildcard" category - each of the judges will take four contestants through to the live shows, with one in each category then being put into the wildcard category mentored by the fifth judge. This change will see the abolition of "deadlock", which has existed since series 4.

Didn't they say that last year and it didn't happen?

I read that Tulisa was going to be Louis' partner at Judge's houses

Lol .... They scrap the american version of x factor in usa and are now gonna air the uk version instead ... ffs ..lol.
History repeating itself where cheryl whatsername (god i so want to smash that smile off her face) is forced once again on the yanks who wont have a clue what she is talking about.
I guess they will switch off in droves

I really enjoyed Chloe Jasmin's audition! Not sure how she'll progress now though.

If ratings tell a story:
Sat S11 E1 2014: 9.57m (up 0.28m on equivalent Sat S10E1 in 2013) Sun S11 E2 2014: 8.22m (down 1.69m on equivalent Sun S10E2 episode 2013)
Very early days but it looks like a lot of viewers tuned in out of curiosity to watch the return of Simon & Cheryl, and were so unimpressed they decided not to watch episode 2.
If you had said to anyone three years ago that the average of two XF episodes would be lower than an episode of BBC's Great British Bake Off 9.28m, you would have said that's about as likely as Manchester United not qualifying for European football!

An interesting decision by Mark Cuban.
I just caught an episode the other night. I asked my wife if she had any problems understanding Cheryl's accent and she said no.
I wasn't thrilled with the talent on display and found myself disagreeing with the judges quite a lot.
I thought that Lauren Platt's destruction of Let It Go was truly cringeworthy.
However, that was topped by some chap doing Footloose - was it Stevi? Awful.
Highlight was probably Fleur and Lady Marmalade.

Fleur stole the show tonight with her performance with her version of Uptown Funk

^ Agreed. No one else even came close. I think last nights show highlighted how inferior Lauren is to the rest of the back. Surely her time is up now

Ed Sheeran, Sam Smith, Demi Lovato, Meghan Trainor and One Direction performing at the final.
Not the most spectacular line up to be honest.
I'm assuming Ed, Sam and Demi will be doing the duets?

Meghan Trainor duet with Fleur, Ed with Ben, Sam with Andrea Olly will be performing his new single "Up" with Demi
