I found a link to here from m4bcc and I thought that it would fun to join another forum
I've been browsing this forum for about a month now, but I've finally decided post today and become a part of the community
I'm not really sure how to introduce myself, but hopefully you'll get to know me from the posts that I make here
Anyway, I'm not from the UK, I'm a girl from the US, but I am interested in British music, and I have been viewing the U.K. singles charts for the past few months since there have been a lot of UK crossovers recently, and tbh, I've always kind of been interested in joining a foreign website
I don't have an avatar right now, but I'd like some suggestions, I can't guarantee that I will pick your avatar, or anyone's, but I don't have any ideas, so I'm curious
Also, what should I know about British culture? What are some do's and don'ts?
P.S. If you reply here you're not obligated to answer any of these questions, I'm happy with just a hello

Thanks Tbh, mostly all of them, some of my favorites would include (limiting to 1 song per artist) Rolling In The Deep, Lights, Rather Be, Latch, although I'm sure that I missed a lot never mind the UK or US chart, you should follow MY chart.. I'll probably take a look at it soon

Well I and several others post charts in the Personal Chart forum here. There is actually one topic "Post your charts here...". You will see loads of "obscure" music listed there. In the wonderful modern day and age you have youtube and spotify and can just go and listen to these songs on demand.
Once we ascertain the kind of music you like we can even recommend stuff for you.

I've actually had a personal chart ever since the beginning of 2014, and I'll probably start posting it here next week, but thanks

I've had one since the beginning of 1977. So 38 years. Probably before you were born.

That makes you a lot younger than I originally thought you were. I believe the teenage years influence your music tastes forever.

Mine were:
13 Kate Bush - Wuthering Heights 14 Gloria Gaynor - I Will Survive 15 Jam - Going Underground 16 Shakin' Stevens - This Ole House 17 Goombay Dance Band - Seven Tears 18 Duran Duran - Is There Something I Should Know 19 Lionel Richie - Hello
aside from 2 of them not a great list but the music in general was good around that time.
