MC Rob Walker doing some commentary as well it would seem. As much as he's associated with snooker, I don't think I've heard him do commentary on it before - just athletics and a couple of random sports at the Olympics.

Kurt Maflin was on for a 147. This was his reaction when he lost position and was about to be snookered behind the blue after potting the 14th red: Attachment Deleted

But I can't think of a good Norwegian player? Well he's only Norwegian because his wife is. He's originally from London. They even had his wife as his team-mate at the World Cup a few years back, which shows how many snooker players there are in Norway.

Day 3: JOHN HIGGINS 10-5 MATTHEW STEVENS A fairly comfortable win for Higgins as he looks to reach a record-equalling ninth Crucible final. NEIL ROBERTS0N 10-5 LIANG WENBO A high-quality match in which the Australian was too strong for Liang in the evening after a tight opening session. DAVID GILBERT 8-10 KURT MAFLIN Another very good match, which saw six century breaks. Maflin reaches the last 16 for the first time and is the first qualifier through to the next round, where he'll face John Higgins. Gilbert's exit means both of last year's losing semi-finalists have been eliminated. Yan Bingtao 7-1 Elliot Slessor Ronnie O'Sullivan 8-1 Thepchaiya Un-Nooh

Day 4: RONNIE O'SULLIVAN 10-1 THEPCHAIYA UN-NOOH O'Sullivan broke the record for the shortest ever match at the Crucible, completing victory in just 108 minutes. It beats the previous record, set by Shaun Murphy last year, by 41 minutes. YAN BINGTAO 10-7 ELLIOT SLESSOR Another match that looked all over with Yan leading 9-2 but he then went to pieces and Slessor pulled to within two only for Yan to eventually fall over the line and pick up his first ever win at the Crucible. JACK LISOWSKI 9-10 ANTHONY McGILL Lisowski is the second seed to exit the tournament. McGill led 5-2 and 9-6 but Lisowski pulled level on both occasions. McGill progressed after winning a tense decider on the colours. Shaun Murphy 3-6 Noppon Saengkham Mark Selby 5-4 Jordan Brown

A brilliant win for Jamie Clarke in the fourth frame against Mark Allen.

Day 5: SHAUN MURPHY 4-10 NOPPON SAENGKHAM The shock of the championship at that point, with the 2005 champion beaten convincingly by Thailand's no.2. MARK SELBY 10-6 JORDAN BROWN An attritional match that threatened to go into a third session but the three-time champion's class showed in the end as he was able to finally pull clear and seal victory. MARK ALLEN 8-10 JAMIE CLARKE An even bigger shock than Murphy's exit with the world no.4 beaten by the lowest-ranked player in the tournament. As suedehead alluded to, Clarke managed to win frame 4 after requiring three snookers at one point. Stephen Maguire 2-7 Martin Gould Barry Hawkins 7-2 Alexander Ursenbacher

Day 6: BARRY HAWKINS 10-2 ALEXANDER URSENBACHER The 2013 runner-up completes an easy victory over the Swiss debutant. This was the only 1st round match not to feature a century break. STEPHEN MAGUIRE 3-10 MARTIN GOULD A remarkable victory for Gould over the Scot, who came into the tournament as the in-form player, having won the Tour Championship. Gould compiled four centuries, more than he had during the whole season prior to this match. After the match, he spoke candidly about his mental health struggles and how the lockdown ultimately prevented him from retiring from snooker. John Higgins 3-5 Kurt Maflin Mark Williams 5-3 Stuart Bingham

Where has Kurt found this form? Not a Higgins fan, and I've met him at uni at the cue club we played at.

Where has Kurt found this form? 6 weeks in England away from Oslo with nothing to do but practise answers that.

John Higgins achieves the 11th maximum break at the Crucible and the first since 2012.

£55,000 (including the £15,000 high break prize) which far less than it used to be. The maximum bonuses were reduced because they were happening at tournaments too often and instead were put towards overall prize funds. If there's another 147, the money is shared.

Day 7: JOHN HIGGINS 11-13 KURT MAFLIN Maflin becomes the first player through to the quarter-finals after a thriller against the four-time champion. Higgins is the third player in Crucible history to make maximum break but go on to lose the match. Maflin's win means we are guarantted a qualifier in the semi-finals and leaves Judd Trump as the only previous finalist in the top half of the draw. Mark Williams 8-8 Stuart Bingham Mark Selby 8-8 Noppon Saengkham Judd Trump 3-5 Yan Bingtao

I class Kurt and Tom Ford as similar. Very talented, can beat the best but so inconsistent.
