Ali Carter wins the German Masters, beating Tom Ford 10-3 in the final. Ford led 2-0, meaning Carter won 10 of the last 11 frames. It's his fifth ranking title and first since 2016.
Carter climbs to 15th in the world rankings as a result of his win. Victory for Ford would've put him inside the top 16 for the first time in his career.
The next tournament is the Welsh Open, which takes place next week.

Semi-finals at the Welsh Open:
Pang Junxu v Shaun Murphy Robert Milkins v Tian Pengfei
It's the first ranking semi-final for both Chinese players. By reaching the semis, Milkins has sealed a place at next week's Players Championship. Murphy is already in. Should Pang or Tian win the tournament, they would also make it in at the expense of Joe O'Connor.

Robert Milkins wins the Welsh Open, beating Shaun Murphy 9-7 in the final. As well as the Β£80,000 prize for winning, Milkins earns a bonus of Β£150,000 for topping the standings in the BetVictor Series. Milkins turned professional in 1995 but hadn't won a ranking title until he won last year's Gibraltar Open. Now he's won two in the space of a year and has returned to the top 16 in the world rankings.
Welsh referee John Pellew took charge of the final - his first major ranking final.

Yes, he has been open about his issues with alcohol. There was also an incident a year ago at the Turkish Masters when he arrives drunk to the opening ceremony and was later taken to hospital. The following tournament was Gibraltar, where he won his first title.

Mark Selby has won the WST Classic, beating Pang Junxu 6-2 in the final. This was the replacement ranking event for the cancelled Turkish Masters. It is Selby's 22nd ranking title. It was Pang's first final.
Following this tournament, the field is now set for next week's Tour Championship in Hull, the final event before the World Championship:
Mark Allen v Ding Junhui Ali Carter v Kyren Wilson Mark Selby v Ryan Day Shaun Murphy v Robert Milkins
Gary Wilson missed out on a place by Β£500. He reached the semi-finals of the WST Classic, losing in the deciding frame to Pang. Had he won, he'd have qualified ahead of Ding and gone ahead of Milkins on countback.
